#WAR is not a matter of #political #party

---

Can we all agree that war is pretty horrible stuff?

People die and/or are maimed for life..

Where HAVE the anti-war protesters gone? Why have they gone? Is war acceptable when/if a democratic president is in charge of it?

We can easily SEE that foreign policy and matters of war are NOT driven by political parties but are GOVERNMENT policies. The lust for never ending war is shared by both parties and likely due only to the opportunity for government to continue to spend massive amounts of money to help prop up our economy and individual states.

Please check this video

And some pretty cool charts on military spending here

You can create some really cool charts yourself here with various data

Politics is BULLSHIT! Everyone needs to stop drinking the f'ing koolaid..

Is the dollar done for? $USDCAD & $DXY

---
Monetary manipulations forever apparently..
---

Current view of USD/CAD via a monthly chart.. Of course it makes sense that as the Federal Reserve Bank intentionally destroys the value of our fiat currency the commodity currencies should be helped by the weakening, practically worthless pieces of green paper we call money..

---

And here is a long term view of the DXY.. (Basically a 25 year chart with quarterly candles) If you really look at it and think about it it appears the value of the entire United States stock market has been manipulated via our fiat currency for not years, but decades.. Note in the chart below also the dollar weakness after the early 1980's recession after which our markets performed very well..

$SPX back above that 13 EMA once again..

This is f'ing Squirrly - #Planet #Earth

---

Just an observation from last year.. We have lived where we currently live for about 5 years now.. Behind our house is a large open grassy field with a line of woods along the far edge. This is a perfect habitat for many animals and we greatly enjoy watching the deer, turkey, raccoon, opossum & birds. (Ok.. not the opossum so much..)

We feed the birds in our backyard just to get a closer look at them.. So, like most people, we had always had one particular pest to worry about also..

Squirrels..

Lots of them.. I personally don't like them, guess I might be an animal racist I don't know.. But they would constantly steal our bird seed even throwing our bird feeders to the ground at times.. So I shot them when I got the chance.. F'ing little rats with a long tail..

Every year that we have lived here the squirrels have formed seemingly organized raids on our bird feeders.. LOTS of them on a daily basis..

Which brings me to the oddity of last year.. NO squirrels! I might have seen ONE or TWO all of last year! Spring, summer and fall..

Are they secretly massing a huge army to take over our backyard? Or have they simply disappeared? And if they ARE gone, where did they go? And why?

Does anyone else out there find it odd that an entire thriving squirrel population would simply vanish over the course of one year?

I must admit that it spooks me a little..

Guest post: View from the Street #Unions vs #TeaParty

---
Boy.. maybe TeaParty people are just WAY too nice by nature..

"The occupation of the Wisconsin Capitol by protesters fighting efforts to strip public workers of union bargaining rights carried on Sunday after police decided not to forcibly remove demonstrators and end a nearly two-week-long sit-in."

That's from an article in today's local newspaper entitled "Police won't boot protesters from Wisconsin Capitol"

and I got to wondering just what would the reaction have been from the main stream media and Washington had a group of TeaParty members, perhaps during the HCR protests, taken over (occupied) a capitol building, for TWO weeks, sporting signs showing obama as Hitler and refused to leave on the order of the police?

Should the TeaParty be watching the unions very closely here? Learn some Marxist techniques that they can effectively employ themselves? Or might the SAME actions taken by TeaParty members be dealt with in an entirely different manner?

I seem to recall TeaParty member being called potentially violent (possibly even domestic terrorists) Nazi racists for doing much less than commandeering a public building..

Thanks to a friend of a friend for this guest post and a view from the street..

by Tish Cooper

Well, I went downtown today to stand with other Tea Party members to protest the House Democrats who fled the state, a "Get Your Butt Back to Work" rally, if you will. This is my recitation of events. I took some pictures with my cell phone, which I will post for you, too.

Chad, Katie and I arrived at the Statehouse a few minutes before noon. The protest was to begin at noon, but I could see from a block away there were already several people gathered at the designated meeting place. As we drew closer, I realized that part of the group was made up of union protesters. Katie and Chad proceeded on to the mall to get some lunch, while I stayed there to hold signs with likeminded people. I had three signs that said, "House Democrats are Waging FLEEHAD," "House Democrats = Radical FLEEhadists," and "Awwww.....are the widdle Democrats scared?"

The union protesters held signs that said "The Tea Party is anti-American," "The Tea Party is anti-Worker," "Don't drink the Tea," and various other union signs. Some signs were outrageous, like the one showing Mitch Daniels as Hitler, and some were not even in English. Here are the union signs I was able to snap pictures of:

I don't know if you can see it or not, but in the last picture here, the sign showing RTW with the slash through it has a bumper sticker above it that says "Trabajos con Justicia" or something like that. There were several of those in the union crowd. All the class warfare, corporate hatred, and contempt for conservatives you could ever care to see was on display on that sidewalk today.

Our Side was well behaved as it stood opposite the union thugs, who had megaphones and those loud air horns which they blared to try to keep us from talking to each other and reporters, and to keep us from responding to any of the crap they kept spewing. They made all kinds of noise to bother us, but it never bothered me. I have seven children, for crying out loud, I'm used to it!

At one point, the leader of the Indianapolis Tea Party suggested we spread out along the sidewalk so that passersby could see our signs and our message. We did so, and the union crowd followed us. It was truly a case of monkey see, monkey do! We spread out on the south side of the gathering spot, and the thugs remained to our north. In no time at all, the thugs decided it would be a good idea to march through our crowd. They were completely INCAPABLE of being civil as they did so. Several of them worked awfully hard to start a confrontation. One man hit me with his sign board as he walked by. I don't know if it was on purpose or an accident, but I didn't make a big deal out of it. It was only thin posterboard. One man looked directly at me as he walked by and said, "What a bunch of a$$holes you are!" I just smiled and said, "We love you, too, sir." He kept walking. One man kept approaching people, demanding to know what they did for a living, as if somehow knowing that would give him the opportunity to have a "Gotcha!" moment. He was so pathetically transparent that it was sad. In fact, several of the men in the union crowd did that. Whenever someone would say, "I have my own business," or "I fill-in-the-blank...," they would say, "Oh, good" and move on. WTH?

Some people driving by were supportive of us and others were not. Those who supported us would honk and wave or give us the thumbs up, while leaving the pro-union thugs alone. Not so for those who supported the unions. They went by the union group first, since that group was north of us, and honk, wave, etc., and when they got to us, they would honk and give us a thumbs down or the middle finger. Yes, I am ashamed to admit that my middle finger found its way skyward a time or two while we stood there.

The media was there, too. All the local media were present, and, surprisingly, so was the Washington Post. I gave an interview to the Washington Post reporter, Nick something, who singled me out, he said, because of the sign I was holding which said, "House Democrats = Radical FLEEhadists!" He was very nice, but I won't hold my breath waiting for any kind of positive article on today's events from the WaPo.

Not long after that, I moved back from the curb and took position on the wall around the Statehouse grounds. A man came along in a truck and made a show of supporting the union folks while at the stop light. He laid on his horn, had his hand out the window giving thumbs up, and pumped his fist (in solidarity, no doubt). When the light turned green, he took off slowly and then quickly accelerated, heading straight toward our group standing along the curb. He purposely ran through the curbside mud puddles in front of where the Tea Party people were standing. He splashed dirty water on several of them before he had to swerve to miss a stopped car in front of him. There was no doubt that he did this on purpose. There was also no doubt that the union thugs appreciated his efforts as they cheered and laughed.

Soon after, a truck was at the stoplight, waiting to turn out onto the street we lined. The light turned green and he entered the intersection. All of a sudden, he stopped, slammed his truck into park, and jumped out, yelling at a man standing on the corner. He was yelling, "You wanna do that to my face, punk?! HUH? COME ON!!" He was an older, tolerant, leftist union thug decked out in union patches, hat and coat. He was angry at someone who had made the "L" sign on his forehead with his thumb and index finger. The cops and a few of our guys ran over to intervene, so nothing much came of it. Channel 8 (www.wishtv.com) was there and has a story about it on their website.

In all the excitement, I had made my way back to the curb again to hold my sign, and that's where I stayed for a while. After a while, I was the only one standing at the curb at the northernmost edge of our group. There were others behind me standing on the short brick wall that surrounds the Statehouse, and others further to the south. I was talking to the people behind me when I heard a vehicle accelerating. I turned around in time to see the truck that had splashed everyone earlier heading straight toward the mud puddle in front of me. I said, "He's gonna splash" and jumped back, but he was going so fast that the water sprayed the entire sidewalk and me. It got me a little wet, but splashed my sign pretty good and all the ink started running. I took a pic of it after I got home.

Of course, the union thugs whooped and hollered, because that sort of thing is how they roll. I just laughed at the guy's childishness, which most likely disappointed the watching thugs. There happened to be a policeman parked just to the north of the intersection who saw what happened. He immediately began following the guy in the truck. I don't know if he actually stopped him or not. Five to ten minutes later, I thought I saw his truck turning on the street again. I said, "Uh oh, here he comes again," and I stood my ground. At that point, it was my personal mission to STAY on that curb, no matter what kind of abuse the thugs tried to dish out. I was NOT going to let a creep like that run me off. Let him do his worst to a little old lady like me while everyone around watched. To my surprise, another lady from our group came and stood right beside me with her sign. She said something like, "He's not gonna run me off either." LOL I could have cried, I was so proud of her! Turned out that it was not the same truck or guy. Splasher never reappeared.

On one of the several marches the union thugs took through our group, one of our members asked a mouthy union lady who was walking by if she was paid to be there. She angrily asked if we were paid, to which we replied that we were not. She cackled and said, "Honey chil', I be makin' 25 dollar an hour to do NUTHIN'!" She was PROUD OF THAT, you guys!! She said, "You all CHOSE to be out here for nuthin', not me, and I ain't givin' up my 25 dollar an hour for NUTHIN'!" I thought, the whole reason we're out here fighting this fight is because of people like her. It was truly disusting.

Towards the end of our protest, the union thugs and Tea Party folks were face to face in front of the eastside Statehouse entrance. They were yelling, "UNION! UNION!" in our faces, and we were shouting "FREEDOM! FREEDOM!" Things pretty much wound slowly down after that. One lady in our group was telling several union supporters that IPS teachers make $70,000 a year when you include their benefits package with their pay, for working 9 months of the year. They responded with the same old line that the union will make things better if Republicans would stay out of the way. I said, "Oh yeah, the unions have done such a GREAT job already, haven't they?" One lady, the one making "25 dollar an hour" said that everything was so messed up because George W. Bush had made a mess of everything over 8 years and it was going to take a long time to set it right. *eyeroll* I pointed out that we were all where we were today because NO ONE - neither Republican or Democrat - had had the guts to make the hard calls that needed to be made for decades. Of course, the union lackeys disagreed and said that Republicans wanted to implement policies that would push talented teachers out of our schools. I said, "Unions don't care about talent, otherwise they wouldn't use the sum of teachers' social security numbers as a guideline for tenure. They would at least consider PERFORMANCE!" This irritated them for some reason and they began shouting "Don't drink the Tea!" as they made their way back to their group.

That's when I gathered Chad and Katie and we all left. We had to walk through the union thugs to get to our car and, coincidentally, I was hit in the head with a posterboard sign again, but I just kept walking. I'm pretty sure it was the same sign which 'accidentally' hit me earlier, carried by the same man. What are the chances of that happening? Pretty high if your in the midst of those tolerant union thugs.

Here are the rest of the pics I took today. Sorry for being so long-winded, but I wanted to make sure not to miss anything! Love to you all. ~ Tish

Thoughts on #Martial #Law & U.S. #Military intervention

---

Lets not lose the relevance and context of this discussion by focusing on a U.S. survey of combat trained Marines.

NEW WORLD ORDER COMBAT ARMS SURVEY

COMBAT ARMS SURVEY By LCDR (Ret) Ernest G. Cunningham

The Year America Dissolved By Paul Craig Roberts

Would US Troops Fire on Americans?

Here is an interesting google search for more interesting reading on the subject..

"Combat Arms Survey," pdd 25 results

The only thing interesting about the question "What percentage of (especially young / green) Marines would fire on violent protesters threatening the authority of the United States government"? Is what conditions would have to exist in the country for this to be a valid question?

People around the world, right now mainly in the middle east and Africa, are rising up against corrupt governments.

Why is this happening? Mainly because the cost of commodities have been skyrocketing since the evil Ben Bernanke led, bank cabal, Federal Reserve began intentionally driving down the value of our fiat currency to PRODUCE inflation. Now the FED denies they have any responsibility at all for rising prices and unrest around the world.

You can see more of my opinion on the Federal Reserve & other issues in My Manifesto

And why is the FED undertaking such drastic monetary actions? Because the Federal Reserve Bank and the United States government are scared to death about the still looming economic collapse, deflation and depression facing this nation due to the national debt and never ending deficit spending.

And if..

the economy were to collapse
the dollar were to collapse
hyperinflation were to set in due to the irresponsible actions of the Federal Reserve
the government of the United states were to default on its obligations including the social safety net
there were a horrific terrorist attack on American soil
we do go to war with even more Muslim countries in the middle east and elsewhere fueling fears of a possible world war three
the U.S. government continues down the road of strengthing rather than eliminating the Patriot Act
we give the President of the United States the authority to shut down the internet for up to 4 months with NO congressional oversight
we continue to implement draconian freedom robbing unconstitutional security measures like the TSA
politicians continue to force clearly unconstitutional laws onto the populace only to bailout a failing insurance industry (HCR)
government and main stream media continue to call TeaParty members Nazis and racists while calling union members in WI heros
the Federal Reserve, Primary Dealers, banks and government continue to favor the profits of banks and multinational corporations over the welfare of their own citizens

will there be, would there be, could there be violent protests and civil unrest?

Unions have a history of violence in this country, TeaParty members do not, yet..

We, the United States of America, have a history of Muslim uprisings too..
Malcolm X was assassinated, Muhammad Ali was thrown in prison

Malcolm X

Here is a very good documentary on Ali A.K.A. Cassius Clay (1970)

We also, inside a mere 200 year history, hardly the Romans, have experience with civil war, brother killing brother right here in this country..

These are difficult times for our country. I, personally, fear its very future may hang in the balance. Foreclosures set a record last year at 1 million. This year we expect to see another 1.2 million Americans expelled from their homes to help support the balance sheet of our so very important banking / financial system..

While we may not be Libya even Americans have a breaking point..

So my question has been the same for a long period of time now.

If a mere 1% of the U.S. population were to be driven to violent protests you are talking about more than 3 million people. Just 1/2 of 1 percent = 1.5 million people. 0.01 percent is 300,000 people..

Were potentially violent civil unrest to occur in this country how would the response of the United States government be different than the response of the Iranian government after their bogus election in 2009?

I predict, not much.. Put down dissent, arrest those involved.

The United States has the authority of law to jail anyone it chooses at any time for seditious activity, which essentially means opposing government authority..

In law, sedition is overt conduct, such as "speech" and "organization", that is "deemed by the legal authority" to tend toward "insurrection against the established order". Sedition often includes subversion of a constitution and "incitement of discontent (or resistance) to lawful authority". "Sedition may include any commotion, though not aimed at direct and open violence against the laws". Seditious words in writing are seditious libel. A seditionist is one who engages in or promotes the interests of sedition.

See Sedition

To think that America is somehow immune from civil unrest is near-sighted and silly based merely on our own history..

If "things" were to go to hell in this country for any number of reasons would the United States government use use the military, including the national guard, on American soil as a police / law enforcement entity as they currently do elsewhere in the world? As they did in the aftermath of Katrina?

And if they did would a small percentage of U.S. military personnel fire on civilians if ordered to do so by a commanding officer?

I'm sorry, but I have many more questions than I do answers..

Another f'ing Reverse Split

---

I have been reverse split on many of my short ETFs including SRS, VXX, ZSL and now TZA

Reminder - Direxion ETFs Reverse Split

I have a couple of theories on these reverse splits..

Best case scenario is that banks are splitting these so fewer traders can afford to buy them when the banks decide to run them violently higher..

---

Worst case scenario, and I have experienced this one, is that banks reverse split these shares to give them a lot more room to run them ever lower..

If I EVER get the chance to get out of these heavily manipulated market short ETFs I will do so and permanently remove them from my watch lists..

At this time the market most definitely IS a gulag casino that is ONLY about punishing shorts so severely that they will never ever dare attempt to short the market again..

45 year [quarterly] $SPX chart w/ boom bust

---
First we had the dot com mania bubble which threw our markets way out of whack making a true correction unbearable for politicians, Federal Reserve Bank, Primary Dealers and corporations to consider.

So in stepped Alan Greenspan with a great idea.. Artificially low interest rates for as long as it takes to manipulate [inflate] the market higher once again. NO regulation or oversight by the Federal Reserve Bank needed.. No regulation or oversight needed by anyone.. So began the Bush / Greenspan bubble. Up up and away!

It seems, we were told, that it was a "jobless" recovery.. Too bad that..

Enron, Worldcom and God knows what else..

Oops.. Housing crisis.. Which exposed the economy of the United States of America for exactly what it is.. an economy based solely on debt, a house of cards, a grand ponzi scheme reliant on monetary and fiscal policy manipulations to survive.

Bush back at work in the end of his second term with unlimited bailouts for all, EXCEPT working Americans, before turning things over to Mr CHANGE [Yes we can!] obama and [helicopter] Ben Bernanke..

So now we have the obama / Bernanke bubble..

I'm waiting with baited breath for that TRIPLE top and the BEST BUST of all time!

WOOHOO! See you at the bottom!

Candles are quarterly..

#Wisconsin Governor Threatens To Replace #Union Workers with #National #Guard

---
You may click here for the source post (The Huffington Post) if you prefer

These unions are NOT the TeaParty.. As *I* have been saying for quite some time now.. If it's violence you're worried about just try f'ing with the criminal union bosses of this country.. You're likely to get your violence then..

Guess we'll just have to wait and see WTF happens next..

Greg
---

State workers in Wisconsin are protesting a statement by Republican Governor Scott Walker that, union reps say, amounts to a threat to use the National Guard to help break the public union.

Citing a $137 million budget deficit, Walker announced a plan last week which would essentially take away the public union's collective bargaining rights and slash benefits for state employees. Meanwhile, the share of corporate tax revenue funding the state government has fallen by half since 1981 and, according to Wisconsin Department of Revenue, two-thirds of corporations pay no taxes.

In the case of a walkout, Walker has put the National Guard on alert. Last week, he told reporters that the guard is "prepared" for "whatever the governor, their commander-in-chief, might call for," such as staffing prisons if guards go on strike.

Wisconsin is one of a number of states facing severe budget cuts and difficult choices. But as Bloomberg News points out, the biggest savings Walker is proposing have nothing to do with state workers or collective bargaining. Walker claims the state can save $165 million by the end of next June simply by restructuring existing debt.

"I'm just trying to balance my budget," Mr. Walker told the New York Times last week. "To those who say why didn't I negotiate on this? I don't have anything to negotiate with. We don't have anything to give. Like practically every other state in the country, we're broke. And it's time to pay up."

The Republican Party of Wisconsin has said that Walker's plan will save Wisconsin $30 million over the next three months and $300 million over the next two years.

Union leaders and labor scholars don't think Walker's move to crush the union is about the deficit.

"True loyalty . . . cannot subsist in an arbitrary government, because it is founded in the love and possession of liberty. . . . it is the scourge of the griping oppressor and haughty invader of our liberties. . . . Whoever, therefore, insinuates notions of government contrary to the constitution, or in any degree winks at any measures to suppress or even weaken them, is not a loyal man. Whoever acquaints us that we have no right to examine into the conduct of those who, though they derive their power from us to serve the common interests, make use of it to impoverish or ruin us, is, in a degree, a rebel to the undoubted rights and liberties of the people."

#Forex Stop Hunting Illustrated #FX - $AUDUSD

---
As many of you know I am currently attempting to trade the tunnel method. The one thing that frustrates me personally more than anything else about trading forex is stop hunting. It seems that so many times one can stake out and plan a good trade, get a good entry, only to be taken out on a stop loss before the move continues, without you..

For that reason it is very important to me to study these stop hunting moves in as much detail as possible in order to make them a part OF my forex trading, to have the ability to PLAN FOR stop hunting and to hopefully gain an edge for my efforts..

#Fair & #Free #Markets my A$$

---
Could the government and the Federal Reserve Bank possibly stoop so low as to merely take away traders ability to short.. anything?

Remember 2008?

(Click link for full story on the SEC website)
SEC Halts Short Selling of Financial Stocks to Protect Investors and Markets

Washington, D.C., Sept. 19, 2008 — The Securities and Exchange Commission, acting in concert with the U.K. Financial Services Authority, took temporary emergency action to prohibit short selling in financial companies to protect the integrity and quality of the securities market and strengthen investor confidence. The U.K. FSA took similar action yesterday.

(Click link for full story)
Remember FASB and Mark to Fantasy Accounting?

# FASB is ‘easing’ the Mark to Market rule to essentially allow all these insolvent banks to price all their toxic assets at whatever price they view as proper, ie Mark to Fantasy. This is seriously bad news for transparency and accountability.

# Suppose a bank buys an asset which cost US$1 B a year ago and the price of similar/same asset goes down to US$100M currently. In fair value accounting using mark to market principle, the asset bought at US$ 1B should be priced at US$ 100M in the books. This means that this bank has suffered a US$ 900M paper loss and the balance sheet, profit and loss statement must reflect it as such.

# But in allowing banks to escape from this mark to market rule, banks can price toxic assets at whatever. How then can you trust their financial statements? How then do you assess whether they are adequately capitalize or otherwise?

# It is bad enough that alot of these toxic derivatives are placed under off balance sheet items to hide them. Now with this rule change, it is almost as good as legalizing fraud. America is going from bad to worse. These banksters and their cronies are taking over the country big time. They are sending America down the road to 3rd world country status with dubious rules and regulations.

04/17/09 - Accounting Rule: Mark to Market, Mark to Reality, or Mark to Fantasy

And here is pretty much how I feel about the whole mess..

The Economy Cannot Recover Until the Big Banks Are Broken Up

However, as we can all plainly see, the government of the United States and the Federal Reserve Bank intend to do anything and everything to prop up this ponzi economy apparently forever.. They accomplish this with the tricks mentioned above. Banning short sales, changing accepted established accounting rules.

Another trick I have noticed myself.. If something they want or need to do happens to be illegal they merely either change the existing law or write a new law to make the illegal legal.. Presto!

They being the government of the United States of America and the Federal Reserve Bank along with the Primary Dealers.

Also see this..

Scary stuff! Beyond foolishness…..INSANITY!

Add to all this the fact that Ben Bernanke is now openly bragging about the stock market manipulation being carried out by the Federal Reserve Bank and their cohorts the Primary Dealers..

This ponzi scheme, it seems to me, works something like

The Federal Reserve Bank prints money out of thin air and loans it to the Primary Dealers at zero percent interest.

The Primary Dealers then use this free money to drive the stock market higher, especially the price of commodities as we have seen.

This seems to be the perfect solution to the threat of deflation which is what the Federal Reserve Bank fears the most. As in this manner the FED, via Primary Dealer cooperation / collusion can greatly inflate the equity market and all risky assets while at the same time have the cover of LOW inflation in their manipulated statistics. They are able to report low inflation and announce that the FEDs 'mandate' is now to INCREASE inflation because the TRILLIONS of dollars the FED has printed out of thin air has never entered the real economy of the United States. It was never INTENDED to enter the real economy.. The intention all along was to prop up the TBTF banks while leveraging them up sufficiently to make huge profits by manipulating markets while trading them.

Hell.. I could go on and on forever I suppose.. But the point I'm trying to make is that NOTHING is real anymore.. A fair and free market does not exist in the USA, if it ever has.. Our banks are zombies just like the Japanese banks. Our economy is propped up by nothing more than government spending and massive debt levels..

Ask yourself where would we be without spending 100s of billions of taxpayer dollars on wars around the world? Where would we be without extended unemployment for the last two years? Where would we be had food stamp accessability not been extended to 43 million Americans?

It is my own opinion that our economy and markets, and indeed the American people themselves, are DEMANDING deflation, likely accompanied by a depression like none we have ever seen, to lower prices for everyone across the board.. To clean out the fraud and greed that has taken over our entire country in the name of 'saving the economy'.

Bullshit

So, the Federal Reserve Bank and the Primary Dealers have NOT been able to effectively lure retail investors back into the rigged gulag casino stock markets and neither have they been able to force market shorts to capitulate even though they have been unmercifully squeezed for more than two years now. So what IS the next step? I predict at some point it may be the elimination of the ability of the general public to short stocks of any kind.

I certainly hope I am wrong..

Welcome to the matrix.. I hope you are enjoying it..

Senior US #Marine Says "Multiple Platoons" Are Headed To #Egypt

A senior member of the US Marine corps is telling people "multiple platoons" are deploying to Egypt, a source tells us.

There is a system within the US Marines that alerts the immediate families of high-ranking marines when their marine will soon be deployed to an emergency situation where they will not be able to talk to their spouses or families.

That alert just went out, says our source.

This senior Marine told our source that the Pentagon will deploy "multiple platoons" to Egypt over the next few days and that the official reason will be ‘to assist in the evacuation of US citizens."

Our source was told that "the chances they were going over there went from 70% yesterday to 100% today."

We're keeping these people anonymous because both would get in trouble for sharing this information with the press.

On Friday, the Pentagon announced it would move "U.S. warships and other military assets to make sure it is prepared in case evacuation of U.S. citizens from Egypt becomes necessary," according the the LA Times.

We've reached out to the Pentagon.

Middle East Unrest Trickles into Saudi Arabia - Prelude to 2012? A #New #Age (of #Freedom) Coming?

A small group of women in Saudi Arabia demonstrated in the streets recently, protesting the incarceration of several people they claim have been wrongly accused of being militants.
Reports indicate that there were only a few dozen women present at an organized protest against the arrest of several people that they claim have been wrongly identified as being connected to various militant groups. And while the protest was peaceful and small, any such act of defiance - especially by women - is extremely rare in Saudi Arabia. The prevailing wisdom is that the wave of social activism and unrest that is washing through the Middle East will meet its greatest resistance in countries like Saudi Arabia. The fact that such demonstrations are already taking place there speaks to the depth of the problems being faced by autocratic regimes in the Arab world.

The systems of control that are in place throughout the Middle East are ancient, even if the current ruling regimes have only been in place for decades. With such a close adherence to the religious principals of Islam and a social structure that keeps power in the hands of only a few decision makers, many Middle Eastern countries maintain a fairly stable control over their populations.

All of that appears to be on the verge of change, however, as demonstrations have already ousted one government in Tunisia and Egypt's government is on the verge of ceding its control. There are a few recent developments that have set the stage for these types of protests and organized resistance to the status quo. Interestingly, perhaps the most important pieces of the puzzle have been Facebook and Twitter, along with other social networking sites that have connected large groups of people in ways never before possible. As people begin to share thoughts and ideas more freely, it becomes apparent that they have far more in common than they may have previously realized.

By uniting and coordinating themselves into a clear and cohesive voice for change, large numbers of people can mostly-peacefully bring about sweeping changes. The most clear calls seem to be for better, less-corrupt governance. The changes that have started in the Middle East are only the beginning and they come with much uncertainty and fear - but also with a strong undercurrent of hope for better times ahead.

Look at the two dates.. No one can say Washington is moving fast on this. However it seems as usual they will stick with it and plug away until they get their way. Which once again just coincidentally happens to be in the favor of unions..

The mantra is still F Main Street..

Don’t Exempt Car Dealers: They Need to Follow Basic Consumer Protection Rules - #Elite #Predatory #Lenders

---
So far our government has done NOTHING to protect the more ignorant in our society from predatory lending.. Still the same business as usual games and nibbling around the edges of true financial reform.. This article discusses the fact that auto loans are even securitized!
---

If auto dealers get their way they will be exempted from the new consumer protection rules currently being crafted in Congress. This will be to the detriment of consumers and will create a gaping hole in the new system.

By Pat Garofalo | June 7, 2010

The New York Times earlier this month profiled Army specialist Matthew Garcia, a 25-year-old who was the victim of a “yo-yo deal” when he attempted to purchase an automobile. He agreed to pay 19.9 percent interest on a $12,000 loan, but was contacted by the auto dealership days later and told that his financing had fallen through.

Garcia was called back to the car lot, at which point he was told that he would need to put an additional $2,500 down. He refused, “but by that time someone had blocked his car so he could not leave,” according to the Times. “I was tricked, manipulated and lied to,” Garcia said. “And I feel like it was intentional.”

Buncha sh*t #Hasan - #Vets as domestic #terrorists - #TeaParty as #Nazis - #HCR hell - #Egypt

---
Remember when this terrorist act went down in Nov 5 of 2009?

Remember how the obama administration screamed at everyone NOT to jump to conclusions about whether or not it even WAS a terrorist attack?

FORT HOOD
Hasan hearing delayed again

Remember when Janet Napolitano warned us that our returning veterans were at risk of becoming domestic terrorists?

Remember when Nancy Pelosi was calling Tea Party members Nazis?

Remember how dissent was treated in this country when citizens merely voiced their displeasure with the way our own government was ramming the health care bill down everyone throats?

Notice how Washington is so quick to condemn the Egyptian government for using force to put down dissent? For shutting off the internet? For Mubarak's refusal to step aside?

While the obama administration, or I should just say politicians, are currently seeking to pass a law that will allow the president of the United States to shut down our own access to the internet on his demand with no interference / oversight from congress what-so-ever?

More and more I am having a very difficult time determining how, or even IF, our own government is any different than Iran or the Mubarak governments..

All corrupt governments will do WHATEVER it takes to retain their OWN wealth and power.. Including our own. I think we all get that don't we?

Watch your back people..

#Tunnel #Trading $EURGBP h4 chart 13 EMA test

The #Perfect #Trade Setup - Analysis #EURCAD #Trading #Technique #FX

---
Hello everyone ;) I thought I would share what I consider to be the perfect trade setup this morning. You'll see the trade & how it all went down in the chart but here is a brief explanation.

As you may know I have pretty much settled in for now with trading the tunnel method with a 13 EMA filter. The tunnel is constructed of two closing EMAs with values of 144 & 169. These two EMAs form the tunnel itself. The tunnel, as I use it, is mainly used to indicate current direction or trend & the 13 EMA is a filter (ie; ideally price should be below 13 EMA to short. above it to go long). Moving average compression is also obviously involved here. When the 13 EMA is very close to the tunnel the likelihood is that you WILL get price expansion. The trick is of course to try to figure out in which direction that expansion will occur lol

The trade below is a daily chart & shows what I consider to be the perfect trade setup using this particular trading technique.

Please note in the chart the candle close on 02/03/2011 this candle closed below both the tunnel and the 13 EMA on the day. This is a very strong signal so after the candle open and the "stop hunting spike" for 02/04/2011 I shorted it twice..

Unfortunately I panicked when I got up Friday morning and saw that it had barely missed my original target at 1.3413 and bounced so I closed both, early..

EUR/CAD S @ 1.34875 / 1.34539 exit +33.6 2/3/2011 19:18 2/4/2011 08:23

EUR/CAD S @ 1.35065 / 1.34524 exit +54.1 2/3/2011 21:47 2/4/2011 08:24

None-the-less *I* consider it a good trade ;)

Now that several of these have established a down trend (ie; EURAUD EURCAD EURGBP GBPAUD) what *I* intend to watch for are "tests" of that 13 EMA.. Many times these 13 EMA "tests" are perfect entry areas in the direction of the trend.

Happy trading all!

Greg

PS: You might keep in mind also that these same trade rules apply in virtually ANY time frame.. The only difference will be the size of the move and hence the number of pips involved.

What If We DO get #Inflation?

---

I'm already hearing talk of how companies are being "forced" to raise prices because their "input costs" are going up.

It seems we are told by the Federal Reserve Bank that the economy needs more inflation. That the Federal Reserve Bank is "mandated" to increase our inflation rate.

Millions of Americans have lost their jobs. As a direct result millions of Americans have been removed from their homes and put on the street by banks through foreclosures. Perhaps the banks are "mandated" to foreclose..

Millions more Americans are precariously balanced on the knife's edge right now..

Even those who have been frugal and saved to have a bit of interest income have been confronted with extremely low interest rates since 2001.

Many people have been out of work for 2 years or more now.. Even if they had a nest egg it's likely gone. Their job skills eroding in a buyers market in labor..

And this is "saving our economy"?

Inflation may push them right off the cliff.. And there are no bailouts for 99'ers, only banks and "important" corporations. AIG, GM, Chrysler, Freddie / Fannie..

We could end up just like Egypt and for the same reasons..

Will our own government promise right now?

Not to use military force to put down open dissent?

That they will not shut down the internet?

That they will agree to peacefully "step aside"?

Thanks uncle Ben (Bernanke)

Greg

Sedition

The term sedition in its modern meaning first appeared in the Elizabethan Era (c. 1590) as the "notion of inciting by words or writings disaffection towards the state or constituted authority". "Sedition complements treason and martial law: while treason controls primarily the privileged, ecclesiastical opponents, priests, and Jesuits, as well as certain commoners; and martial law frightens commoners, sedition frightens intellectuals."

34 year quarterly DOW chart Head & shoulders forming?

---
I'm sorry but I love this chart lol Looks like the DOW is in a position to form the right shoulder of this head & shoulders formation right now.. Do we get that or do we get a double top at 14,000? Or do we get a new high at 36,000 LMAO You'll have to ask the central banks what their evil plans are to find out I guess because I don't have a f'ing clue..

The chart below runs from 1977 to the present and candles are quarterly. As a result the blue line is a 13 quarter EMA, or about a 4 year EMA..
