Downside of low inflation: A weaker global economy @AP BULLSHIT! @DallasFed Don't LIE!

---

Yeah.. I'm reprinting it with a link to the source even though it SAYS I'm not allowed to do this.. So sue me, ok?

The reason I'm posting it is not because I agree with it but to show how the media is OWNED by #government & central #banks. Whatever happened to giving BOTH sides of a story?! Why is status quo #propaganda all we ever get out of the corporate media?

Reposted with analysis [WITHOUT your "permission"]

WASHINGTON (AP) — Since the Great Recession ended 4½ years ago, Americans have struggled with high unemployment, static pay and a slow economy. Yet they've had one thing in their favor: low inflation.

Well, hold the applause.

It might be unfathomable to people who still bear scars from the double-digit inflation of the 1970s, but "what the global economy could use right now is a dose of higher prices." -Says WHO?!

Overall prices are barely budging because the economy is still weak. And the reverse may be true, too: Super-low inflation has likely slowed growth from the United States to Japan to Europe. It's why "the world's central banks" would like prices to rise. -OHHHHH, that's who..

Most people aren't likely to work up much anxiety about low inflation. After all, the benefits can be great. Cellphone service has gotten cheaper. Breakfast cereal prices have dropped the past two years. So has the cost of bedroom furniture. TV prices have plummeted 29 percent since 2012. -Technology doesn't count as it's a rigged deflationary "game" to begin with

And low inflation is surely preferable to runaway inflation. Back in 1980, U.S. inflation reached 13.5 percent.

Last year, overall U.S. prices inched up just 1.1 percent, according to the Federal Reserve's preferred gauge. Inflation has stayed below the Fed's 2 percent target for two years. On Wednesday, the government said its producer price index, which tracks prices before they reach consumers, had risen just 1.2 percent over the past 12 months.

Yet Ben Bernanke, the just-departed Fed chairman, has said policymakers worry as much when inflation is too low as when it's too high.

---
No mention here of the fact that IF the @FederalReserve manages to achieve their "goal" of consistent 2% inflation what happens to our currency over, say, a 100 year period? Looks negative doesn't it?
---

What's wrong with very low inflation?

Lots. When prices barely move, many people postpone purchases. Why rush, if the same price — or lower — will be available in six months? Collectively, these delays slow consumer spending, the economy's main fuel.

Ultra-low inflation also makes the inflation-adjusted cost of a loan more expensive. -Who might this be important to? Perhaps a #government that owes over 17 TRILLION DOLLARS?! I think Americans are ready to try not having any debt for awhile!

And too-low inflation raises the prospect of something worse: deflation — a broad decline in prices, pay and the value of stocks, homes or other assets. Deflation can further restrain spending and even tip an economy into recession.

---

THIS is EXTREMELY BIAS BS!

Mind if I share a bit of the other side of the story with my readers?

Some BENEFITS of #Deflation

Higher Standard of Living:

Contrary to what we are constantly told by the fear-mongers, it is deflation which raises the standard of living for the general public, and inflation which destroys our standard of living. This is nothing but simple arithmetic. The fall in prices of computers and big-screen TV's has literally made us wealthier, as it takes less hours of our labors to pay for these goods today than it used to.

Purges Excess From Markets

Deflation is the great bubble-destroyer. No asset-bubble can ever withstand the economic "shock" of deflation. Again we see the hypocrisy of politicians and bankers (and the media talking-heads who parrot them).

First these individuals create asset-bubbles (through their reckless, inflationary policies). After they have created these bubbles, they confess to their own foolishness, however they still refuse to accept the "prescription" (deflation) for the "disease" they have created. Like the drug addict, these inflation addicts know that inflation is harming themselves (and everyone around them), and like the weakest junkie, they continue to refuse the "rehab" of deflation.

Just ask the Japanese. -Fuck the Japanese

Japan has been stuck in a deflationary trap for most of two decades. Its economy has barely grown. Fears have spiked that Europe might be next.

For now, prices in Europe are ticking up — barely. Inflation in the 18 nations that use the euro currency rose 0.7 percent in January from a year earlier. In Japan, consumer prices rose 0.4 percent for 2013. That counts for good news: It was Japan's first overall price increase in five years. Its central bank is trying to lift inflation to 2 percent.

So why is inflation so low across the developed world?

Blame a persistently subpar economy and a tough job market. When good jobs are scarce, businesses can hold down pay and prices. Companies can cheaply produce enough to meet demand.

"Prices have only gone down because nobody has any money to buy stuff," says Antonio Duarte, a retired postal worker in Lisbon, Portugal, who favors discount stores. "It's all about supply and demand." -Exactly! Lower prices and you will increase demand. It's not rocket science.

Other trends have contributed. Most clothing and furniture in the United States comes from lower-cost manufacturers overseas. Technological innovation has improved the quality of TVs and smartphones while cutting their costs. -Manufacturing of [slave labor] cheap, mostly plastic, crap to entice #consumers?

A more fundamental factor is at work, too: People believe inflation will stay low. And inflation expectations can be self-fulfilling. Suppose a company expects to pay 3 percent more for salary and materials next year. It will then raise its own prices 3 percent. The company's expectations would help produce 3 percent inflation.

Ask people if they're enjoying low inflation, and you may encounter puzzlement. Many of us don't feel it. One reason: Apart from the government's broad inflation gauges, many items have gotten much costlier over the past five or 10 years. -Which is why we don't have #fiat to WASTE!

Though gasoline prices, for example, have risen just 1 percent in two years — a big reason overall inflation is low — gas is still nearly 14 percent costlier than before the recession. Drivers face that reality every day. -Gas and food aren't even calculated in the CPI!

Consider Allison Casey, 63, of Essex, Conn. She was relieved to find a job in August after 18 months of unemployment. But Casey now drives 25 miles each way to work at a specialty food store. She used to drive just a mile to her job as a chef at a country club.

Recently, she paid $3.56 a gallon. Six years ago, "I was probably paying $1.65 or $2 for a gallon of gas."

Other services have grown more expensive. Health care costs have long risen faster than overall inflation. And college tuition has soared 76 percent in 10 years. Yet stable or falling prices for many other items have offset those trends.

Low inflation does help when pay increases are weak. Consumers can stretch their dollars, yen and euros. In hard-hit European economies, such as Greece and Portugal, prices have actually fallen in the past year.

Ace Hardware CEO John Venhuizen says his company paid less to manufacturers for products it sells in 2013 than in 2012. That's helped offset other rising costs, such as health care.

"We are delighted," Venhuizen says. "There's far less price pressure than I would have anticipated five years ago."

Yet low prices pose a downside for some businesses. Big chains such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Bed, Bath & Beyond fought a brutal price war during the past holiday shopping season. The discounts got Americans to spend more. But 33 retail chains cut their profit estimates for the final months of 2013, according to RetailMetrics LLC.

By contrast, if retailers could raise prices, say, 3 percent or 4 percent, the extra revenue would allow them to pay employees more. And they wouldn't have to rely strictly on cost cuts to deliver profits. -Yeah? So why don't #they just do it then? Why stop at 4% price increases? Why not 10% or 20% Why not just devalue our currency by 40% to get the job done quickly?!

Other businesses might also spend more. U.S. companies are sitting on nearly $2 trillion in cash, according to the Fed. Jared Bernstein, an economist at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, notes that low inflation leads many businesses to hoard cash. Higher inflation, by contrast, would erode the cash's value. So businesses would be more inclined to spend — to hire or buy equipment. -"would erode the cash's value" A little fiat manipulation here and there helps doesn't it?

Higher inflation would also make it easier for Americans to manage their debts. Laurence Ball, an economics professor at Johns Hopkins, notes that many car buyers have loans with rates of 2 percent or less. If inflation were 3 percent or more, pay would likely rise. The car loans would become cheaper to pay off.

In Europe, higher inflation could help resolve that region's economic crisis. Greece and other poorer members of the eurozone let wages and prices rise too high, and their goods became comparatively expensive. Now, they must reduce wages and prices, especially compared with stronger economies like Germany. If inflation were higher in the richer countries, it would help ease prices and pay in the poorer countries and encourage hiring.

In the United States, many economists have long feared that the Fed's efforts to stimulate growth would ignite inflation. Since 2008, the Fed has bought more than $3 trillion in bonds to try to keep loan rates low to encourage spending. -The (so-called) money the @FederalReserve "prints" out of thin air goes ONLY into the pockets, balance sheets, of #banks not into the general economy, by design..

Yet to the surprise of many, all the money the Fed has pumped out hasn't caused prices to jump. -See above

"It's a bit of a riddle," says Richard Fisher, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. -Fisher knows better, he's lying

Other economists note that most of the money the Fed has created is being held by large commercial banks as reserves. And consumers and businesses aren't clamoring for loans. Banks have tightened their lending standards. So the new money created by the Fed hasn't circulated through the economy, where it might have accelerated inflation.

Most economists foresee inflation remaining low for at least two more years. Fed policymakers have forecast that inflation will be just 1.7 percent to 2 percent in 2016. -The VALUE of our currency has FALLEN by 96% since the inception of the @FederalReserve ! How much more inflation do we really need?!

They'd be happy to be wrong. An uptick in inflation "is a sign that growth is happening," says Alberto Cavallo, an economics professor at MIT.

Introduction

For those of you who are Sitchin fans, you may notice some similarities between his information and mine. I respect the exhaustive research he has done, and the great scholar that he is. He contributed to opening up our planet’s memory of the Anunnaki. Scholastic and intellectual viewpoints and written documents are of value and add one part to understanding who we are. However, I feel we must not rule out our holographic, multidimensional viewpoints as being of equal value.

This is what I present to you.

I don’t agree with all of Sitchin’s data, and I include a lot that he does not. There have been many viewpoints from many different writers about the Anunnaki. Most of my information comes from personal memories and channeled information. And, similarities will also exist between certain channels because deeper truth is consistent; those who can channel or tap into universal energies on their own will also receive many parallels to this story. [My personal memories and more about me and Enki can be found in my article Nakmemories.]

I have something I’d like to add here - the Anunnaki had bases around the world, but primarily in the Middle East - Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, Iraq - and in India and South Africa. There are many artifacts that still exist in Iraq but are not allowed to be seen, and the West has not had much access at all to these artifacts of the Anunnaki. It is my understanding that Saddam Hussein has hoarded many of these and kept many in private vaults under the ground. It is my hope that governments will encourage the Iraqi people who have access to these artifacts to bring them out and share them with the world.

Much still lies beneath the sands and it would be fantastic for humanity to be able to uncover the past in this region. Ur, between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, was the birthplace of humanity in modern times on Plan-ET Earth, the Garden of Eden, and everyone is entitled to have safe access to it. Therein lies many eophysical keys to remembering who we all are. (Please see the addendum to this article for a more complete explanation of how the war with Iraq is related to the Anunnaki, added April, 2003.)

Special update on May 1, 2003: The Tomb of Gilgamesh is thought to have been found in Iraq. The story can be read here and please note the comments on the canals, which Enki built.

Preface

Humans were not only created by G-d, but are also genetically, symbolically and literally, related to a few off-planet civilizations; one particularly known on Earth as the Anunnaki.
[If you believe humans evolved solely from apes, why, then, are there still apes?]
Our story, (a term which replaces "history", because "our story" belongs to all of us), of human life on Earth is often told as creation myths, the planets in the heavens.

But these myths were based on something - - - fact. This is why, around the world, we see the same tales of how one ’god’ was instrumental in assisting humanity during creation, the great flood, bringing knowledge to humanity. All cultures have their own creation stories of the ’gods and goddesses,’ beings on ships that came from the skies (often wearing masks or strange clothing and possessed some amazing abilities), giants (Anakim), war epochs between two sides of a family, and all over the Earth we also share very similar artwork, music and technology, largely based on extraterrestrial activity and intervention. From Lemuria to Atlantis to Sumeria to Egypt. These portray the story of our cosmos, the constellations, sun and moon, and put into human and "god" forms.

Personally, I feel that much of what we attribute to the Anunnaki was not their own doing. For instance, I think that the Anunnaki were limited in their abilities, yet were given credit for doing things that were done by other alien species. But, as human beings saw the Anunnaki as gods and goddesses, they naturally transferred credit to the Annunaki, because they were more tangible, something they could see, make an image of, and so forth. In this article you will see some comparisons between B’raisheet (Genesis) and the written history the Anunnaki.

Although this may not be for everybody (because some people simply aren’t interested or curious about any of this stuff), why could it be of value to examine our past in this particular way, with our connections to extraterrestrials, as well as with our past lifetimes? Because when we re-member more of who we are, why we continue to repeat patterns without understanding them, then we can be more of our whole selves in a way that is free from old baggage. We can have clear knowledge of ourselves, accept ourselves, heal what needs healing, and create what we want to have for our future.

Or, to quote from a popular TV show ("Kung Fu: The Legend Continues"):
"The seeds of destiny are nurtured by our roots in the past."
If you want to know what the Anunnaki looked like, one easy way is to see the crop circle from 2001 called the first Chilbolton Face in Hampshire.

Mention the name Anunnaki to some people and deep within them something stirs; a memory of Earth and Mars - and often there is anger, fear, pain, and confusion about the Anunnaki. People seem to like to blame them for all of Earth’s problems. Some people remember being part of their family, for better or worse.

And yet others don’t want to hear anything about them because it dredges up feelings they’d rather avoid or deny. I even hear stories from people who think that the Anunnaki are vicious reptilians who have been battling for control over the Earth for the last half a million years, and they call all of the shots while we sit here like helpless pawns. I feel that A LOT of what we’ve learned about the Anunnaki was via bad press due to incorrect translations and the need to have a scapegoat. Do I agree with everything the Anunnaki did, or they way in which they did things? No.

They had good sides and also some really awful sides. There were different Anunnaki factions, and there were aliens who gave the impression they were Anunnakis. This article presents some of each. What they did was their responsibility and I’m not about to excuse or even attempt the impossible, which would be to vindicate their actions.

The Anunnaki are archetypal, symbolic, and mythic, too. So, we may each feel a certain personal identification with one or more of them, which is a very interesting phenomenon to investigate. Because people feel a reaction to the Anunnaki, it is a HUGE key that our personal feelings and memories (emotional and cellular) about the Anunnaki still influence us today. In other words, these archetypes are within ourselves. Joseph Campbell stated that, "myths are clues to the spiritual potentialities of the human life." We seek the experience, the rapture of life, and myths help us as guides through life, show us what we are capable of, and mirroring what we feel. We can use the mythology of the Anunnaki as a way to understand and heal ourselves.

From Enki and Enlil, Cain and Abel, Jacob and Esau, Joseph and his brothers, Moses and Ramses, Hatshepsut and Tuthmose, Akhenaten’s one god versus the many deities; Inanna (with her insatiable greed for power and adoration who still failed to realize that without her possessions she was nothing); Jehovah and Adoni; Sin (a.k.a. Nanna, Allah); the war over who controls Israel.

We have seen brother go against brother (the main theme), religions and governments against others, men against women and women against men up into current times. I feel it’s time to get over the past (not necessarily forget it), and heal a lot. It is my hope that through such understanding of who we are, we can resolve ancient battles between nations and heal bitterness and hurts that have held us back from fully enjoying our lives and being the creators that we are RIGHT NOW. It’s time to remember who the false gods were and who the real G-d is....the One that is in charge of it all, that is within us; the one that transcends definition.

The return of love/G-d (and the G-d as the common source within us all that is synchronicity, wisdom - love and light) is not only required for our survival, I feel it is eminent. Examining the deep, dark secrets within and healing them can help us accomplish this faster, I think. The most important event that took place when the Anunnakis ruled the Earth was that man rebelled against slavery and demanded sovereignty, and received it. The Anunnaki left. At the end of this article is more information along these lines about what this means for us as a civilization.

My thanks go to my higher self, and Enki for helping me, for all of his love and care he gives to me and to all of life.

In the beginning.....

I have been looking for this for a long time --> The DNA molecule and Prayer

I truly believe obtaining the ability to properly use our DNA is the key to.. everything..

People have asked me for years why it is that I have had so many experiences with the heavens when they haven't. Of course there are many of you who tell me that you are experiencing the same kind of phenomenon in your lives. However, I would like to address the question.

I think we all understand that there is a price to pay for contacting the heavens. It isn't something you can merely ask for and expect to receive for the asking, though the Lord chooses us all from time to time, on His own schedule, to intervene in our lives. However, how can we ask the questions we think we need, and get the answers?

Remember the class on Knowledge where we talk about the extensive nature of the DNA computer. 95% of the space on the DNA molecule goes apparently unused and is often called 'Junk DNA' by scientists. Nobody disputes that this DNA is doing something, but scientists have yet to discover what it is. That 'Junk DNA' can be used in a prayer-like mode to discover the secrets of the heavens. Everything you want to know is located in the computer God has given you, or is accessible by that computer. It is a matter of learning how to access that information inside of you and to use that computer to contact the creator who made it in the first place.

In addition scientists have yet to discover the specific location of our consciousness within the brain. The reality is that the conscious is not a specific part of the body, but is located in all the parts of the body. We tend to think that because we see out of our eyes that the conscious is located in the head. However, there have been prophets who reported to have been able to see out from the tips of their fingers and toes and behind them. There are people who have returned from a near death experience and reported to have been able to see from various parts of their body as well. That changes everything. The conscious may be possible anywhere DNA, or its spiritual counterpart, is located.

The truth is that the DNA molecule is much larger and more sophisticated than any computer on earth. There are those who fear artificial intelligence, which was the subject of a coast to coast program the night of September 1st 2007. I had to laugh because man doesn't have anywhere near the ability to construct a computer like the one we already have within our own body. If we could keep our minds quiet enough to use our personal computer we would find thousands of savant-like abilities, including working with numbers, remote viewing and travel, witnessing the future and the past and seeing through the eyes of someone who has already lived on the planet. By the way that is the confusion over the reincarnation fallacy. When we see through the eyes of someone else who has lived on the planet, we tend to think that it was our past life. That is a very arrogant and erroneous thought. Most of what goes on inside our head doesn't originate with us. We take things too personally. We have an overwhelming need to own everything we think. One of the greatest secrets to learning how to get an answer to prayer is to learn what thoughts belong to, and originate with, us. When we learn to recognize what I call the voice of the 'other' it is the first step in recognizing the answer to a prayer. It isn't that hard. We know the kinds of things that we know. We remember our experiences. If something is happening inside our head that we didn't experience it is something else. It may seem confusing at first, but it is based on some very simple principles. We all hear our own self talking to ourselves all the time inside our heads. However, most of us don't stop long enough to differentiate that voice we hear that is inside our heads that isn't us at all. That voice can be amazingly articulate and amazingly the voice of someone else.

In order to get the answer to our prayers we must have the ability to remove the agendas from our minds. The conscious of the mind is like the RAM in a computer. ROM is the part where all the information is stored. But it is the RAM, or central processing unit, where the work of the computer is being done. DNA works the exact same way. Most of the DNA acts like ROM memory, while no scientists can tell you the location of the RAM or the conscious mind. In this month's class on the conversation Jesus has with Peter, Jesus tells us how to get our prayers answered. It is perhaps the most profound message I have ever heard in my life. Amazingly it was found in China along side the writings and teachings of Confucius and the Tao. Jesus tells Peter what we all need to do in order to have the ability to get the answer to our prayers. He doesn't say it that naively, but that is exactly what he is telling Peter. See A Conversation between Peter and Jesus found in China.

The August 2007 Class is now available. This is one of those classes that can have a bigger impact in your life than any material possession. It could cause you to depend on prayer, just like I do. It could be your largest source of information on any topic you choose. It could bring you very close to God.

One of the classes for this month is hosted by Robert Van Arlen. He is featured on the cover holding up the world. He is an amazing speaker and a very close friend of Chase. He also is very well connected in the scientific world. We are glad he was willing to host one of the classes that we wrote. To topic is on the secret of the year 2012 and the Maya Calendar. Most of us have heard a great deal on this subject, but then again most of us are confused as to what is really going on. We have no idea that the calendar was shared by the Chinese. We have no idea about the Masonic messages on the disk and the Temple Protocol explained by the calendar. Lastly, we are worried that the end of the world will come on Dec. 21st 2012. That is simply not true. However, that date does foretell of a very close global disaster that will make global warming look like a case of the hiccups. For the first time you will understand why this will happen and what will happen. This isn't prophecy here. This is science. See The Secrets of 2012.

The last of the classes is my favorite. It deals with the origins of the kings of the Old Testament from the African records. These are stories you have never heard before. For me it is another evidence of how much knowledge still exists in ancient texts, which survive in our day. It brings tears to my eyes to think that God didn't leave us stranded. We are the ones who allow ourselves to get lost. See The Secrets of the Ancient Kings of the Bible.

If nothing else you will learn for the first time the history about the origins of Rome itself well beyond the mythologies we think we understand. This is pure fun.

Don't forget to browse the bookstore while you are at the site. We are going to put some new books up soon and take down some of the others. It is time for you to make sure your collections are complete before we move on. Books at Kimball College.

I have some final comments on prayer. My uncle, the most gifted spiritual man I have ever known, told me that if we aren't praying for at least fifteen minutes a day, we aren't praying enough. Then he said if we are not listening for at least half that time, the stupid person is doing all the talking. I have taken the time to go to the desert to pray for a couple of days like the ancient prophets did long ago. If you haven't done that in your lives you have missed the greatest experience in your lives. When it all started to happen for me it came so fast I thought I was in a race. I almost starved because I simply didn't want the experience to end. If you don't know if God exists, take the time to clear your mind and take the advice of Jesus from the Class and go and try it for yourself. Many of you who finally do that will find you have no more need of me, except to share your experiences. Don't miss this month's classes. What will you say to God when he asks you what you did to learn about this world? Will you tell him that you had to clear up a few matters before taking the class? Will you tell him that you were writing a book at the time, or had to worry about your job? Remember the parable of the talents. Will you have buried yours and return them to God unused? Put it in gear this fall. There are things that will surely happen that will find you wanting if you don't. Fill your lamps and be like the wise virgins. When you have it going for yourself then you can jettison guys like me and do it for yourself.
