write an essay explaining in
detail in what way and for what purpose the book of proverbs in the bible places
so much emphasis on knowledge, wisdom and understanding

ChatGPT Title: The Book of Proverbs: Emphasizing Knowledge, Wisdom, and Understanding

Introduction:
The Book of Proverbs, nestled within the biblical canon, stands as a remarkable
compilation of ancient wisdom literature. Proverbs is a rich tapestry of
sayings, aphorisms, and teachings that places significant emphasis on the
pursuit and application of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. This essay aims
to explore the reasons behind this emphasis, highlighting the role of these
qualities in personal growth, communal harmony, and moral discernment.

I. The Power of Knowledge:
The Book of Proverbs places great value on acquiring
knowledge. Knowledge is depicted as the foundation upon which wisdom and
understanding are built. Proverbs 1:7 asserts that "The fear of the Lord is the
beginning of knowledge." Here, knowledge is portrayed as an essential
prerequisite for a meaningful relationship with God and the world. This emphasis
on knowledge serves as a catalyst for intellectual curiosity, learning, and
discernment.

II. The Significance of Wisdom:
Wisdom, closely related to knowledge, occupies a central position in the Book of Proverbs.
Proverbs 4:7 advises, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom. And in all your
getting, get understanding." Wisdom is portrayed as a precious treasure that
must be diligently pursued. It encompasses practical insight, moral discernment,
and the ability to make sound judgments. Wisdom provides guidance in navigating
life's challenges and making decisions that align with righteousness and
justice.

III. The Role of Understanding: The Book of Proverbs highlights
understanding as the culmination of knowledge and wisdom. Understanding enables
individuals to apply acquired knowledge and wisdom in practical ways. Proverbs
3:5 encourages readers to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not
on your own understanding." This verse acknowledges the importance of
acknowledging a higher power and seeking divine guidance in conjunction with
personal understanding. Understanding allows individuals to interpret life's
complexities, harmonize relationships, and foster empathy and compassion.

IV. Purpose and Benefits:
The emphasis on knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in
the Book of Proverbs serves several important purposes and offers numerous
benefits. Firstly, the acquisition of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding leads
to personal growth and maturity. It equips individuals with the tools necessary
to make informed decisions, avoid pitfalls, and pursue a virtuous life.
Secondly, these qualities contribute to communal harmony. Proverbs 14:34
asserts, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people."
The pursuit of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding fosters ethical behavior,
promotes justice, and strengthens the social fabric of communities.

Thirdly, the
emphasis on knowledge, wisdom, and understanding serves as a safeguard against
deception and manipulation. Proverbs 14:15 warns, "The simple believes every
word, but the prudent considers well his steps." By valuing these qualities,
individuals are empowered to discern truth from falsehood, recognize deceitful
tactics, and safeguard themselves from harm.

Conclusion: The Book of Proverbs
places immense emphasis on knowledge, wisdom, and understanding for a myriad of
reasons. These qualities not only facilitate personal growth and maturity but
also contribute to communal harmony and moral discernment. Knowledge forms the
foundation, wisdom acts as a guiding light, and understanding allows for
practical application. By incorporating these principles into their lives,
individuals can navigate the complexities of existence with integrity, make wise
choices, and cultivate harmonious relationships within society. The Book of
Proverbs remains a timeless source of wisdom that encourages the pursuit of
knowledge, wisdom, and understanding for the betterment of individuals and
communities alike.

Wife has eye coverage on her insurance and went to eye doc this afternoon
When it came time to the billing she questioned why it was so much
(bc our handicapped uninsured son had been there recently and she knew
kinda what to expect on the high end)
To make a long story short turns out if you have insurance the eye doc
business tacks on all sorts of extra expenses, insurance on the glasses
and this and that, apparently to squeeze as much fiat as possible out of
the insurance company..
She had all the extra stuff removed from the bill, told them she didn't
want it billed to her insurance company and got all sorts of breaks on the
bill
Like if you have insurance they charge for the eye exam, if you're self pay
they don't and they charge the insurance company nearly twice as much for the
frames as they charge self pay!
The point of the whole story is how everything is taking place between the
insurance companies and the providers both of whom are constantly try to
squeeze each other..
As self pay the portion of the bill she had to pay out of pocket was almost
exactly 50% (50 PERCENT!) less !
I mean how is that crap not considered out right theft or fraud or something,
come on?
Everyone have a great weekend ;)
Still doing a little pseudo-research once in awhile.. I get on this stuff and can't seem to stop running around in circles sometimes.

(Be sure to click the links provided for additional information(This is the "brief version lol))

The following article ties in well with the (mythological?) history shown below.

I thought this article was pretty fascinating as it touches on a lot of the stuff I enjoy looking into.. Ancient Human Metropolis Found in Africa

Also have been looking at the earliest civilizations known to man

Paleo-Indians existed between 45,000-12,000 BCE

Cradle of civilization

Rise of civilization

The earliest signs of a process leading to sedentary culture can be seen in the Levant to as early as 12,000 BC, when the Natufian culture became sedentary; it evolved into an agricultural society by 10,000 BC

The Neolithic i/ˌniːɵˈlɪθɪk/[1] Era, or Period, from νέος (néos, "new") and λίθος (líthos, "stone"), or New Stone Age, was a period in the development of human technology, beginning about 10,200 BC, according to the ASPRO chronology, in some parts of the Middle East, and later in other parts of the world[2] and ending between 4,500 and 2,000 BC.

The Halaf culture is a prehistoric period which lasted between about 6100 and 5500 BCE[citation needed]. The period is a continuous development out of the earlier Pottery Neolithic and is located primarily in south-eastern Turkey, Syria, and northern Iraq, although Halaf-influenced material is found throughout Greater Mesopotamia.

The Ubaid period (ca. 6500 to 3800 BC)[1] is a prehistoric period of Mesopotamia. The name derives from Tell al-`Ubaid where the earliest large excavation of Ubaid period material was conducted initially by Henry Hall and later by Leonard Woolley.[2]

In South Mesopotamia the period is the earliest known period on the alluvium although it is likely earlier periods exist obscured under the alluvium.[3] In the south it has a very long duration between about 6500 and 3800 BC when it is replaced by the Uruk period [4]

In North Mesopotamia the period runs only between about 5300 and 4300 BC.[4] It is preceded by the Halaf period and the Halaf-Ubaid Transitional period and succeeded by the Late Chalcolithic period.

This is where it really starts to get interesting (to me anyway lol)

Note the dates above! We're talking 8,500 years ago (Ubaid) to 47,000 years ago (paleo-indians)!

I find it astonishing that all the trouble in the world today with wars (and rumors of wars), oil, terrorism, are happening in this same prehistoric region of the world.. Iraq, Syria, Turkey, etc..

Eridu (Lots of biblical locations & some references in here)

Eridu (Cuneiform: NUN.KI 𒉣 𒆠; Sumerian: eriduki; Akkadian: irîtu) is an ancient Sumerian city in what is now Tell Abu Shahrain, Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq. Eridu was long considered the earliest city in southern Mesopotamia, and is still today argued to be the oldest city in the world.[1] Located 12 km southwest of Ur, Eridu was the southernmost of a conglomeration of Sumerian cities that grew about temples, almost in sight of one another. In Sumerian mythology, Eridu was originally the home of Enki, later known by the Akkadians as Ea, who was considered to have founded the city. His temple was called E-Abzu, as Enki was believed to live in Abzu, an aquifer from which all life was believed to stem.

Prominence[edit]

Eridu, also transliterated as Eridug,[2] could mean "mighty place" or "guidance place". In the Sumerian king list, Eridu is named as the city of the first kings. The king list continues:

In Eridu, Alulim became king; he ruled for 28800 years. Alalngar ruled for 36000 years. 2 kings; they ruled for 64800 years. Then Eridu fell and the kingship was taken to Bad-tibira.

The king list gave particularly long rules to the kings who ruled before a great flood occurred, and shows how the center of power progressively moved from the south to the north of the country. Adapa U-an, elsewhere called the first man, was a half-god, half-man culture hero, called by the title Abgallu (ab=water, gal=big, lu=man) of Eridu. He was considered to have brought civilization to the city from Dilmun (probably Bahrain), and he served Alulim.

In Sumerian mythology, Eridu was the home of the Abzu temple of the god Enki, the Sumerian counterpart of the Akkadian water-god Ea. Like all the Sumerian and Babylonian gods, Enki/Ea began as a local god, who came to share, according to the later cosmology, with Anu and Enlil, the rule of the cosmos. His kingdom was the waters that surrounded the World and lay below it (Sumerianab=water; zu=far).

The stories of Inanna, goddess of Uruk, describe how she had to go to Eridu in order to receive the gifts of civilization. At first Enki, the god of Eridu attempted to retrieve these sources of his power, but later willingly accepted that Uruk now was the centre of the land. This seems to be a mythical reference to the transfer of power northward, mentioned above.

Babylonian texts also talk of the creation of Eridu by the god Marduk as the first city, "the holy city, the dwelling of their [the other gods] delight".

History[edit]

Re-creation of the port at Eridu.

According to the Sumerian kinglist Eridu was the first city in the World. The opening line reads,

"[nam]-lugal an-ta èd-dè-a-ba
[eri]duki nam-lugal-la"

"When kingship from heaven was lowered,
the kingship was in Eridu."

In Sumerian mythology, it was said to be one of the five cities built before the Deluge occurred.
Eridu appears to be the earliest settlement in the region, founded ca. 5400 BC, close to the Persian Gulf near the mouth of theEuphrates River. Because of accumulation of silt at the shoreline over the millennia, the remains of Eridu are now some distance from the gulf at Abu Shahrain in Iraq. Excavation has shown that the city was originally founded on a virgin sand-dune site with no previous occupation.

Possible location of Tower of Babel[edit]

The Egyptologist David Rohl, has conjectured that Eridu, to the south of Ur, was the original Babel and site of the Tower of Babel, rather than the later city of Babylon, for several reasons:[8][9]

The ziggurat ruins of Eridu are far larger and older than any others, and seem to best match the Biblical description of the unfinished Tower of Babel
One name of Eridu in cuneiform logograms was pronounced "NUN.KI" ("the Mighty Place") in Sumerian, but much later the same "NUN.KI" was understood to mean the city of Babylon.
The much later Greek version of the King-list by Berossus (c. 200 BC) reads "Babylon" in place of "Eridu" in the earlier versions, as the name of the oldest city where "the kingship was lowered from Heaven".

Rohl further equate Biblical Nimrod, said to have built Erech (Uruk) and Babel, with the name Enmerkar (-KAR meaning "hunter") of the king-list and other legends, who is said to have built temples both in his capital of Uruk and in Eridu.

Other scholars have discussed at length a number of additional correspondences between the names of "Babylon" and "Eridu". Historical tablets state that Sargon of Akkad (ca. 2300 BC) dug up the original "Babylon" and rebuilt it near Akkad, though some scholars suspect this may in fact refer to the much later Assyrian king Sargon II.[10]

And.. Ur

Prehistory[edit]

Archaeologists have discovered the evidence of an early occupation at Ur during the Ubaid period (ca. 6500 to 3800 BC). These early levels were sealed off with a sterile deposit of soil that was interpreted by excavators of the 1920s as evidence for the Great Flood of the book of Genesis and Epic of Gilgamesh. It is now understood that the South Mesopotamian plain was exposed to regular floods from the Euphrates and the Tigris rivers, with heavy erosion from water and wind, which may have given rise to the Mesopotamian and derivative Biblical Great Flood stories.[7] The further occupation of Ur only becomes clear during its emergence in the third millennium BC (although it must already have been a growing urban center during the fourth millennium). The third millennium BC is generally described as the Early Bronze Age of Mesopotamia, which ends approximately after the demise of the Third Dynasty of Ur in the 21st.

Biblical Ur[edit]
Ur is considered by many to be the city of Ur Kasdim mentioned in the Book of Genesis (Biblical Hebrew אוּר) as the birthplace of the Hebrew patriarch Abram (Abraham; Aramaic: Oraham, Arabic: Ibrahim), traditionally believed to be some time in the 2nd millennium BC.

Ur is mentioned four times in the Torah or Old Testament, with the distinction "of the Kasdim/Kasdin"—traditionally rendered in English as "Ur of the Chaldees". The Chaldeans were already settled in the vicinity by around 850 BC, but were not the rulers of Ur until the late 7th century BC. The name is found in Genesis 11:28,Genesis 11:31, and Genesis 15:7. In Nehemiah 9:7, a single passage mentioning Ur is a paraphrase of Genesis. (Nehemiah 9:7)

The Book of Jubilees states that Ur was founded in 1688 Anno Mundi (year of the world) by 'Ur son of Kesed, presumably the offspring of Arphaxad, adding that in this same year wars began on Earth.

"And 'Ur, the son of Kesed, built the city of 'Ara of the Chaldees, and called its name after his own name and the name of his father." (i.e., Ur Kasdim) (Jubilees 11:3).[16]
Ur in Islamic tradition[edit]

According to Islamic texts, the prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) was thrown into the fire here. In the story, the temperature of the fire of Nimrod was reduced by God, saving the life of Ibrahim. While the Qur'an does not mention the king's name, Muslim commentators have assigned Nimrod as the king based on Jewish sources, namely theBook of Jasher (11:1 and 12:6).[17]
History of Iraq

Present day Iraq, known in classical antiquity as Mesopotamia, was home to the oldest civilizations in the world,[1][2] with a cultural history of over 10,000 years,[3][4][5] hence its common epithet, the Cradle of Civilization. Mesopotamia, as part of the larger Fertile Crescent, was a significant part of the Ancient Near East throughout the Bronze Age and the Iron Age.

Arabs have been the majority of Iraq's population since Sassanid times.[6] Iraq was ruled by the indigenous empires,Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian, Assyrian and also by foreign empires; Median, Achaemenid, Seleucid, Parthian andSassanian empires during the Iron Age and Classical Antiquity, before Iraq was conquered by the Muslim Rashidun Caliphate in the 7th century, and became a center of the Islamic Golden Age during the medieval Abbasid Caliphate. After a series of invasions and conquest by the Mongols and Turks, Iraq fell under Ottoman rule in the 16th century, intermittently falling under Iranian Safavid and Mamluk control.
Ottoman rule ended with World War I, and Iraq came to be administered by the British Empire until the establishment of the Kingdom of Iraq in 1933. The Republic of Iraq was established in 1958 following a coup d'état. The Republic was controlled by Saddam Hussein from 1979 to 2003, into which period falls the Iran-Iraq war and the Persian Gulf War. Saddam Hussein was deposed following the 2003 US-led invasion of the country. Following the invasion, the situation deteriorated to the extent that in 2006–2007, Iraq was on the brink of civil war. However, conditions improved following a surge in U.S. troops in 2007–2008, and the war was declared formally over in December 2011, with the U.S. troops leaving the country.
Gudea of Lagash (Louvre)
The history of Sumer, taken to include the prehistoric Ubaid and Uruk periods, spans the 5th to 3rd millennia BC, ending with the downfall of the Third Dynasty of Ur around 2004 BC, followed by a transitional period of Amorite states before the rise of Babylonia in the 18th century BC.
The first settlement in southern Mesopotamia was Eridu. The Sumerians claimed that their civilization had been brought, fully formed, to the city of Eridu by their god Enki or by his advisor (or Abgallu from ab=water, gal=big, lu=man), Adapa U-an (the Oannes ofBerossus). The first people at Eridu brought with them the Samarran culture from northern Mesopotamia and are identified with theUbaid period, but it is not known whether or not these were Sumerians (associated later with the Uruk period).[1]
The Sumerian king list is an ancient text in the Sumerian language listing kings of Sumer, including a few foreign dynasties. Some of the earlier dynasties may be mythical; the historical record does not open up before the first archaeologically attested ruler,Enmebaragesi (ca. 2600 BC), while conjectures and interpretations of archaeological evidence can vary for earlier events. The best-known dynasty, that of Lagash, is omitted from the kinglist.

And this is pretty amazing.. compare it to the flood story and Noah in Genesis Though this (flood) story has been around for at least 4,000 years!

The Atrahasis is the Akkadian/Babylonian epic of the Great Flood sent by the gods to destroy human life. Only the good man, Atrahasis (his name translates as `exceedingly wise') was warned of the impending deluge by the god Ea who instructed him to build an ark to save himself. Atrahasis heeded the words of the god, loaded two of every kind of animal into the ark, and so preserved human and animal life on earth.

Written down in the mid-17th century BCE, the Atrahasis can be dated by the colophon to the reign of the Babylonian King Hammurabi's great-grandson, Ammi-Saduqa (1646-1626 BCE) though the tale itself is considered much older, passed down through oral transmission. The Sumerian Flood Story (known as the `Eridu Genesis') which tells the same story, is certainly older (written down early 17th century BCE) and Tablet XI of the Epic of Gilgamesh, which also relates the tale of the Great Flood, is even older than that (2150-1400 BCE, though this is the date of the writing of Gilgamesh and it may well be that the Sumerian Flood story, in oral form, is actually older). While the story itself concerns a flood of universal proportions (even scaring the gods who unleashed it) most scholars recognize that it was probably inspired by a local event: flooding caused by the Tigris and Euphrates rivers overflowing their banks.

While archaeological and geological evidence has shown such flooding was a fairly common occurrence, it is speculated that a particularly memorable flood served as the basis for the story. No recognized scholar working in the present day maintains the argument that there was ever a world-wide flood such as Atrahasis and the other accounts depict (including the story of Noah and his Ark in the Biblical book of Genesis). The Mesopotamian scholar Stephanie Dalley writes, "No flood deposits are found in third millennium strata, and Archbishop Usher's date for the Flood of 2349 BC, which was calculated by using numbers in Genesis at face value...is now out of the question."

The Atrahasis begins after the creation of the world but before the appearance of human beings:

When the gods, instead of man
Did the work, bore the loads
The god's load was too great, the work too hard, the trouble too much.

The elder gods made the younger gods do all the work on the earth and, after digging the beds for the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, the young gods finally rebel. Enki, the god of wisdom, suggests the immortals create something new, human beings, who will do the work instead of the gods. One of the gods, We-Ilu (also known as Ilawela or Geshtu/Geshtu-e) known as "a god who has sense" offers himself as a sacrifice to this endeavor and is killed. The goddess Nintu (the mother goddess, also known as Ninhursag) adds his flesh, blood and intelligence to clay and creates seven male and seven female human beings.

At first the gods enjoy the leisure the human workers afford them but, in time, the people become too loud and disturb the gods's rest. Enlil, the king of the gods, is especially annoyed by the constant disturbance from below and so decides to lessen the population by sending first a drought, then pestilence and then famine down upon the earth. After each of these plagues, the humans appeal to the god who first conceived of them, Enki, and he tells them what to do to end their suffering and return the earth to a natural, productive state. Enlil, finally, can stand no more and persuades the other gods to join him in sending a devastating flood to earth which will completely wipe out the human beings. Enki takes pity on his servant, the kind and wise Atrahasis, and warns him of the coming flood, telling him to build an ark and to seal two of every kind of animal within. Atrahasis does as he is commanded and the deluge begins:

The flood came out...No one could see anyone else
They could not be recognized in the catastrophe
The Flood roared like a bull
Like a wild ass screaming, the winds howled
The darkness was total, there was no sun.

The mother goddess, Nintu, weeps for the destruction of her children ("she was sated with grief, she longed forbeer in vain") and the other gods weep with her.
After the waters subside Enlil and the other gods realize their mistake and regret what they have done; yet feel there is no way they can un-do it. At this point Atrahasis comes out of his ark and makes a sacrifice to the gods. Enlil, though only just before wishing he had not destroyed humanity, is now furious at Enki for allowing any one to escape alive. Enki explains himself to the assembly, the gods descend to eat of Atrahasis' sacrifice, and Enki then proposes a new solution to the problem of human overpopulation: create new creatures who will not be as fertile as the last. From now on, it is declared, there will be women who cannot bear children, demons who will snatch infants away and cause miscarriages, and women consecrated to the gods who will have to remain virgins. Atrahasis himself is carried away to paradise to live apart from these new human beings whom Nintu then creates.

The story would have served, besides simply as entertainment, to explain human mortality, those misfortunes attendant on childbirth, even the death of one's child. Since overpopulation and the resultant noise had once brought down the terrible deluge which almost destroyed humanity, the loss of one's child could, perhaps, be more easily borne with the knowledge that such a loss helped to preserve the natural order of things and kept peace with the gods. The myth would have served the same basic purpose which such stories always have: the assurance that individual human suffering has some greater purpose or meaning and is not simply random, senseless pain. The Atrahasis, like the story of Noah's Ark, is finally a tale of hope and of faith in a deeper meaning to the tragedies of the human experience.
by Frank Lorey, M.A.
Evidence for Creation

Background

The Epic of Gilgamesh has been of interest to Christians ever since its discovery in the mid-nineteenth century in the ruins of the great library at Nineveh, with its account of a universal flood with significant parallels to the Flood of Noah's day.1, 2 The rest of the Epic, which dates back to possibly third millennium B.C., contains little of value for Christians, since it concerns typical polytheistic myths associated with the pagan peoples of the time. However, some Christians have studied the ideas of creation and the afterlife presented in the Epic. Even secular scholars have recognized the parallels between the Babylonian, Phoenician, and Hebrew accounts, although not all are willing to label the connections as anything more than shared mythology.3

There have been numerous flood stories identified from ancient sources scattered around the world.4 The stories that were discovered on cuneiform tablets, which comprise some of the earliest surviving writing, have obvious similarities. Cuneiform writing was invented by the Sumerians and carried on by the Akkadians. Babylonian and Assyrian are two dialects of the Akkadian, and both contain a flood account. While there are differences between the original Sumerian and later Babylonian and Assyrian flood accounts, many of the similarities are strikingly close to the Genesis flood account.5 The Babylonian account is the most intact, with only seven of 205 lines missing.6 It was also the first discovered, making it the most studied of the early flood accounts.

The Epic of Gilgamesh is contained on twelve large tablets, and since the original discovery, it has been found on others, as well as having been translated into other early languages.7 The actual tablets date back to around 650 B.C. and are obviously not originals since fragments of the flood story have been found on tablets dated around 2,000 B.C.8 Linguistic experts believe that the story was composed well before 2,000 B.C. compiled from material that was much older than that date.9 The Sumerian cuneiform writing has been estimated to go as far back as 3,300 B.C.10

The Story

The Epic was composed in the form of a poem. The main figure is Gilgamesh, who actually may have been an historical person. The Sumerian King List shows Gilgamesh in the first dynasty of Uruk reigning for 126 years.11 This length of time is not a problem when compared with the age of the pre-flood patriarchs of the Bible. Indeed, after Gilgamesh, the kings lived a normal life span as compared with today.12 The King List is also of interest as it mentions the flood specifically—"the deluge overthrew the land."13

The story starts by introducing the deeds of the hero Gilgamesh. He was one who had great knowledge and wisdom, and preserved information of the days before the flood. Gilgamesh wrote on tablets of stone all that he had done, including building the city walls of Uruk and its temple for Eanna. He was an oppressive ruler, however, which caused his subjects to cry out to the "gods" to create a nemesis to cause Gilgamesh strife.14

After one fight, this nemesis—Enkidu—became best friends with Gilgamesh. The two set off to win fame by going on many dangerous adventures in which Enkidu is eventually killed. Gilgamesh then determines to find immortality since he now fears death. It is upon this search that he meets Utnapishtim, the character most like the Biblical Noah.15

In brief, Utnapishtim had become immortal after building a ship to weather the Great Deluge that destroyed mankind. He brought all of his relatives and all species of creatures aboard the vessel. Utnapishtim released birds to find land, and the ship landed upon a mountain after the flood. The story then ends with tales of Enkidu's visit to the underworld.16 Even though many similarities exist between the two accounts, there still are serious differences.

The table below presents a comparison of the main aspects of the two accounts of the flood as presented in the Book of Genesis and in the Epic of Gilgamesh.

COMPARISON OF GENESIS AND GILGAMESH

Blessed after flood?

Yes

Yes

Some comments need to be made about the comparisons in the table. Some of the similarities are very striking, while others are very general. The command for Utnapishtim to build the boat is remarkable: "O man of Shuruppak, son of Ubar-Tutu, tear down thy house, build a ship; abandon wealth, seek after life; scorn possessions, save thy life. Bring up the seed of all kinds of living things into the ship which thou shalt build. Let its dimensions be well measured."17 The cause of the flood as sent in judgment on man's sins is striking also. The eleventh tablet, line 180 reads, "Lay upon the sinner his sin; lay upon the transgressor his transgression."18 A study of these parallels to Genesis 6-9, as well as the many others, demonstrate the non-coincidental nature of these similarities.

The meanings of the names of the heroes, however, have absolutely no common root or connection. Noah means "rest," while Utnapishtim means "finder of life."19 Neither was perfect, but both were considered righteous and relatively faultless compared to those around them.

Utnapishtim also took a pilot for the boat, and some craftsmen, not just his family in the ark. It is also interesting that both accounts trace the landing spot to the same general region of the Middle East; however, Mt. Ararat and Mt. Nisir are about 300 miles apart. The blessing that each hero received after the flood was also quite different. Utnapishtim was granted eternal life while Noah was to multiply and fill the earth and have dominion over the animals.

Conclusions

From the early days of the comparative study of these two flood accounts, it has been generally agreed that there is an obvious relationship. The widespread nature of flood traditions throughout the entire human race is excellent evidence for the existence of a great flood from a legal/historical point of view.20 Dating of the oldest fragments of the Gilgamesh account originally indicated that it was older than the assumed dating of Genesis.21 However, the probability exists that the Biblical account had been preserved either as an oral tradition, or in written form handed down from Noah, through the patriarchs and eventually to Moses, thereby making it actually older than the Sumerian accounts which were restatements (with alterations) to the original.

A popular theory, proposed by liberal "scholars," said that the Hebrews "borrowed" from the Babylonians, but no conclusive proof has ever been offered.22 The differences, including religious, ethical, and sheer quantity of details, make it unlikely that the Biblical account was dependent on any extant source from the Sumerian traditions. This still does not stop these liberal and secular scholars from advocating such a theory. The most accepted theory among evangelicals is that both have one common source, predating all the Sumerian forms.23 The divine inspiration of the Bible would demand that the Genesis account is the correct version. Indeed the Hebrews were known for handing down their records and tradition.24 The Book of Genesis is viewed for the most part as an historical work, even by many liberal scholars, while the Epic of Gilgamesh is viewed as mythological. The One-source Theory must, therefore, lead back to the historical event of the Flood and Noah's Ark.25 To those who believe in the inspiration and infallibility of the Bible, it should not be a surprise that God would preserve the true account of the Flood in the traditions of His people. The Genesis account was kept pure and accurate throughout the centuries by the providence of God until it was finally compiled, edited, and written down by Moses.26 The Epic of Gilgamesh, then, contains the corrupted account as preserved and embellished by peoples who did not follow the God of the Hebrews.Ancient_Warriorhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13614128086172069650noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1984427812123530441.post-31347296429548674752014-11-20T13:43:00.000-08:002014-11-20T13:52:05.706-08:00New #EA #trading #DAX h1 time frame #FX---
Wattles #Gratitude---

Gratitude

THE ILLUSTRATIONS GIVEN IN THE LAST CHAPTER will have conveyed to the reader the fact that the first step toward getting rich is to convey the idea of your wants to the formless substance.

This is true, and you will see that in order to do so it becomes necessary to relate yourself to the formless intelligence in a harmonious way.
To secure this harmonious relation is a matter of such primary and vital importance that I shall give some space to its discussion here and give you instructions which, if you will follow them, will be certain to bring you into perfect unity of mind with the supreme power, or God.
The whole process of mental adjustment and atunement can be summed up in one word:
Gratitude.

First, you believe that there is one intelligent substance, from which all things proceed. Second, you believe that this substance gives you everything you desire. And third, you relate yourself to it by a feeling of deep and profound gratitude.

Many people who order their lives rightly in all other ways are kept in poverty by their lack of gratitude. Having received one gift from God, they cut the wires which connect them with him by failing to make acknowledgment.

It is easy to understand that the nearer we live to the source of wealth, the more wealth we shall receive, and it is easy also to understand that the soul that is always grateful lives in closer touch with God than the one which never looks to him in thankful acknowledgment. The more gratefully we fix our minds on the supreme when good things come to us, the more good things we will receive, and the more rapidly they will come. And the reason simply is that the mental attitude of gratitude draws the mind into closer touch with the source from which the blessings come.

If it is a new thought to you that gratitude brings your whole mind into closer harmony with the creative energies of the universe, consider it well, and you will see that it is true. The good things you have already have come to you along the line of obedience to certain laws. Gratitude will lead your mind out along the ways by which things come, and it will keep you in close harmony with creative thought and prevent you from falling into competitive thought.

Gratitude alone can keep you looking toward the all, and prevent you from falling into the error of thinking of the supply as limited — and to do that would be fatal to your hopes.

There is a law of gratitude, and it is absolutely necessary that you should observe the law if you are to get the results you seek. The law of gratitude is the natural principle that action and reaction are always equal and in opposite directions.

The grateful outreaching of your mind in thankful praise to the supreme intelligence is a liberation or expenditure of force. It cannot fail to reach that to which it addressed, and the reaction is an instantaneous movement toward you.

“Draw nigh unto God, and he will draw nigh unto you.” That is a statement of psychological truth. And if your gratitude is strong and constant, the reaction in formless substance will be strong and continuous; the movement of the things you want will be always toward you. Notice the grateful attitude that Jesus took, how he always seems to be saying, “I thank thee, Father, that thou hearest me.” You cannot exercise much power without gratitude, for it is gratitude that keeps you connected with power.
But the value of gratitude does not consist solely in getting you more blessings in the future.

Without gratitude you cannot long keep from dissatisfied thought regarding things as they are.

The moment you permit your mind to dwell with dissatisfaction upon things as they are, you begin to lose ground. You fix attention upon the common, the ordinary, the poor, the squalid, and the mean — and your mind takes the form of these things. Then you will transmit these forms or mental images to the formless. And the common, the poor, the squalid, and the mean will come to you.

To permit your mind to dwell upon the inferior is to become inferior and to surround yourself with inferior things. On the other hand, to fix your attention on the best is to surround yourself with the best, and to become the best. The creative power within us makes us into the image of that to which we give our attention. We are of thinking substance, too, and thinking substance always takes the form of that which it thinks about.

The grateful mind is constantly fixed upon the best. Therefore it tends to become the best. It takes the form or character of the best, and will receive the best.
Also, faith is born of gratitude. The grateful mind continually expects good things, and expectation becomes faith. The reaction of gratitude upon one’s own mind produces faith, and every outgoing wave of grateful thanksgiving increases faith. The person who has no feeling of gratitude cannot long retain a living faith, and without a living faith you cannot get rich by the creative method, as we shall see in the following chapters.

It is necessary, then, to cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.

Do not waste a lot of time thinking or talking about the shortcomings or wrong actions of those in power. Their organization of the world has created your opportunity; all you get really comes to you because of them. Do not rage against corrupt politicians. If it were not for politicians we should fall into anarchy and your opportunity would be greatly lessened.

God has worked a long time and very patiently to bring us up to where we are in industry and government, and he is going right on with his work. There is not the least doubt that he will do away with plutocrats, trust magnates, captains of industry, and politicians as soon as they can be spared, but in the meantime, they are all very necessary. Remember that they are all helping to arrange the lines of transmission along which your riches will come to you, and be grateful. This will bring you into harmonious relations with the good in everything, and the good in everything will move toward you.
Or just careful---

Ok here's that $SPX quarterly chart I spoke about awhile back..

Of course with the involvement of governments & central banks no one can possibly predict what's going to happen next but..

This sure looks familiar..

Haven't actually done a trading post for awhile :)

Learning to incorporate multiple golden ratio [161.8] fib levels into every single #trade you take "may" dramatically improve your returns.

This is done with proper placement, usage, of multiple fibs on multiple time frames.

It sounds complicated but once you know how to properly draw fibs & practice it for awhile it becomes quite natural feeling.

You have to realize that markets are fractal in nature. There are moves within moves within moves (as our EW friends know well ;)

Being able to see & understand the current condition of a particular pair on multiple time frames is the key.

For me there are several very important fib levels. They are 23.6 [I call it the stop hunt zone], 61.8 [often ping pong area with 23.6], 88.6 [support where you least expect it], 127.2 & the magical 161.8

23.6 [stop out zone]

61.8 [range area between 23.6 & 61.8]

88.6 [is sneaky, be aware of it]

127.2 [a great spot to take partial profits (if you haven't taken some already)]

161.8 [I call this a completion move, look for a possible reversal]

I'm using this mornings $USDJPY trade as an example of how this might be done.

First lets analyze the current condition on h4.

Here's the m15 with some smaller time frame fibs

Learning to properly use fibs to gauge the current condition of PA on any time frame is invaluable.

Even down to m1..

[For reference Joplin, MO.]

As much as I dislike giving personal information on the blog I admit that we do our weekly shopping, grocery and otherwise, at @WalMart (Actually we like WalMart ;)

This is a post about what we experienced there today.

We go usually every Saturday and our disabled 29 year old son goes with us. Today we also had our 14 year old granddaughter too. We bought a couple boxes of wine with our groceries, as we do every week. I went to get a drink of water and when I got back Mrs Warrior was pissed.. lol Apparently the gal checking us out had refused to sell the wine to Mrs Warrior because the checker carded our 29 year old son who did not have his ID with him.

???

We asked for a manager & got a CSM (Customer Service Manager) who informed us that, yes indeed it is WalMart #policy to ask for ID from an entire group if the sale includes alcohol?

We asked for a store manager lol

We got an assistant store manager to discuss the situation with. He explained to us that they had some "new policies" yet he didn't attempt at all to defend the policy we were being confronted with.

I asked him, if our 29 year old son had been at home & only our (obviously minor) 14 year old granddaughter had been with us would I have been carded? To which he responded no.

At that point making their policy If Mrs Warrior is, attempting to, buy wine, with proper ID, then her 29 year old son who looks as if he might be under 40 should be carded & if he doesn't have any ID the alcohol sale should be denied. But if our 14 year old granddaughter is with us she is not to be IDed because she is a minor.

I'm sorry but, what?

Anyway the assistant store manager decided he didn't have a problem with us buying wine so we did manage that ;)

This is just so wrong on so many levels.. I understand it's a bleeding heart PR effort on the part of WalMart so as to seem as if they are "protecting our children". I think I even understand how the corporate masterminds intended (good intentions & all that) for it to go down.. I mean face it.. A group of 5 come through the line with a case of beer, a bottle of vodka and some chips. They're acting stupid like they just smoked a blunt and 4 of them look 18 or younger but the one buying is 21 with proper ID.

What do you do if you are a responsible corporate retailer?

Obviously, to me anyway, your responsibility is to follow the letter of the law. Which is no alcohol sales to anyone under legally determined age, period.

What is not WalMart's job is law enforcement, period.

WalMart has NO business trying to "guess" or "predict" what the intentions of a, legal, purchaser of alcohol might be once they leave the store. How the heck could they possibly do that in reality?

I checked and WalMart's official alcohol policy, plus a little store policy, is anyone who looks under 40 is to be carded when buying alcohol, period.

But I also saw this story from Ames Iowa -quoted

---

In an email to Davis, someone from Wal-Mart's customer service department told him the chain was experimenting with new ways to thwart underage drinking.

"In order to ensure that alcoholic beverages and tobacco are not sold to minors, Walmart is testing point-of-sale age checks in some locations across the country," the statement read. -emphasis mine

--- end quote

Here's a link to the full story Wal-Mart: Worker wrong to refuse alcohol sale

Mrs Warrior called the store & talked to the store manager who told us Walmart alcohol policy is to check ID & not sell to anyone underage.

Which I am PERFECTLY fine with, by the way.

But what is strange to me is that "someone" had to have impressed upon both the (relatively new) checker AND the "Customer Service Manager" that they were to card an entire group of people if alcohol is involved (and I guess if the (minimum wage) checker is "suspicious" (def: having the belief or impression that someone is involved in an illegal or dishonest activity)).

I rather doubt the two employees came up with their own alcohol policy over lunch.

Don't you?
I sincerely hope everyone who has purchased #ProfitableFX is having a positive experience with it. Feedback & questions are always welcome, please address to @Ancient_Warrior on @twitter

If you have not yet purchased ProfitableFX you may do so here for ONLY $5.99 worthless USD #fiat! It clearly explains how to set up and use the system and includes many charts.

Why so cheap?

Because it is my personal desire to get this winning system (I'm doing about 80% winners & about 2,000 pips per month) into as many hands as possible because it's our best way to get back at those thieving Too Big To Fail (Jail) #Banks and the Primary Dealers who control AT LEAST 73% of forex volume!

When if there is sufficient demand I hope to produce an "Essential Fibonacci" document at a later date which would explain in full the proper use of fibonacci.

Thanks and best of luck everyone

Just thought this was pretty profound myself.. See what you think?

So the underlying importance of the Declaration of Independence was not just to proclaim a separation from Great Britain, though that was certainly a critical part. It was to turn the prevailing form of governance in Europe and the colonies on its head. No more divine rights of kings, no more monarchies, autocracies, oligarchies, plutocracies or despotic tyrants. Ours would be a government that must acquiesce to the will of the people and the people alone.

That then brings up the question that should be asked every Fourth of July: Is our country operating by the consent of the governed as intended, or have the governed been replaced by the elites, the lobbyists, the political parties, the military-industrial complex, the too-big-to-fail banks, the government bureaucracies and the self-indulgent politicians?

Unfortunately, the fact that we the people give Congress an approval rating of 13 percent yet re-elect 95 percent of incumbents makes the answer incoherent.

Here's a link to the full article

This happened to someone close to me & what I am discovering about it is absolutely outrageous!

I submit: Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act, aka “Check 21”

was passed unanimously by the House of Representatives and the Senate in October 2003. It was signed by President George W. Bush on October 28, 2003 and became effective October 28, 2004.

Here's the deal in a nutshell with information & further reading linked below..

Apparently #Congress had a desire in 2003 to "make it easier for business to accept checks as payment over the telephone". As is normally the case when congress / #government becomes involved with business / banks the "unintended consequences" of this can be very harmful to #consumers financial health while remediation can be extremely difficult.

I realize that "checks" are a somewhat antiquated form of payment these days but why on earth would congress use LAW to SIMPLIFY the act of committing fraud?!

Many Americans "like to think" the government is looking out for us when it comes to cyber crime when in reality #they seem to be making the commision of these crimes EASIER!

As a result of the Check 21 law a person needs ONLY the checking account routing number and account number to create a "demand draft" which can be used to withdraw any amount of funds from the account. NO proof of ID is required! NO PIN is required! No security measure exist at all. This is completely rediculous! Those two numbers are found on the bottom of every check. Every check a person writes passes through God only knows how many hands of how many people who happen to be underwater and under employed!

As a result of this Check 21 Act "law" here is what happened to someone close to me / us..

Someone we know accidently left their checkbook in a cart at a retailer, we all make mistakes on occasion. When, a short time later, they realized they had done this they returned to the store and fortunately were able to retrieve their checkbook and all seemed fine.

All seemed fine UNTIL they discovered that ALL the fiat (ie; FAKE MONEY) in their checking account had been COMPLETELY withdrawn! And not ONLY that but apparently when the bank was asked, BY the perpetrator, for the balance on the account the bank always & automatically INCLUDES the amount of overdraft protection IN the balance! In this case that amounted to an additional $600.00 worth of FAKE FIAT that DIDN'T EVEN EXIST being REMOVED from the account!

To add insult to injury the "victim" of the crime's employer uses direct deposit so the bank grabbed the $600.00 overdraft charge out of their NEXT paycheck!

We called our bank to be able to better understand the situation and were informed that using a demand draft, with its complete lack of security, is one of the top cyber crime / identity theft techniques in use today.

The #bank in question is attempting to discover the IP address of the computer used to create the demand draft but also stating that finding the IP address may be a very difficult task if they can do it at all.

So where does all this leave the "victim" of the crime?

With an EMPTY checking account while an "investigation" is underway that may take up to 45 days and may result in pretty much nothing! In the mean time they are on their own, with NO funds, 4 mouths to feed and bills to pay!

This is a security outrage perpetrated on us by the government itself through LAW!

When this is combined with other congressional actions such as the abolishment of #usury laws in the 1980's (1978, Marquette vs. First of Omaha – Supreme Court allows banks to export the usury laws of their home state nationwide and sets off a competitive wave of deregulation, resulting in the complete elimination of usury rate ceilings in South Dakota and Delaware, among others.), the overhaul of #bankruptcy laws in 2005, the bailing out of the Too Big To Fail (Jail) banks who caused the 2008 crash and God only knows what else one can begin to see a pattern emerge that certainly seems to make congress itself complicit in many of the problems being experienced by Americans today.. God help us all.

Thanks for allowing me to vent.. Below is some additional information
A method used by individuals to make transfer payments from one bank account to another. Demand drafts are marketed as a relatively secure method for cashing checks. The major difference between demand drafts and normal checks is that demand drafts do not require a signature in order to be cashed.

Also known as "remotely created checks".

Investopedia explains 'Demand Draft'

Demand drafts were originally designed to benefit legitimate telemarketers who needed to withdraw funds from customer checking accounts. However, the lack of a signature required to authorize the transfers have left demand drafts open to fraudulent use. The only information needed to create a demand draft is a bank account number and a bank routing number - this information is found on a standard check.

In 2005, the Federal Reserve proposed new regulations over the fraudulent use of demand drafts. The regulation increases a victim's ability to claim a refund and makes banks more accountable for cashing fraudulent checks.

Some people — usually those of us who remember the days before debit cards — eschew all these fancy online and electronic forms of payment and instead stick to good old fashioned checks. After all, no one can possibly steal those! They’re paper, and have your signature on them. This is the ultimate in perception differing from reality — it’s hard to imagine a less secure way to make a payment than a paper check.

First of all, there’s the ease of committing fraud with checks. A thief with a stolen check (or deposit slip) has all they need to take money from your account — the routing number and account number (found at the bottom of the check in MICR letters.) Note that the thief doesn’t need any kind of ID… or a PIN… or a physical card… or a CCv2 code… or even to know your name. No, the numbers will do. What can they do with a stolen check?

There are three basic things:

Order up a whole book of checks with your information and account numbers on them. No ID is required to order checkbooks online. They can then spend these checks anywhere, and the bank will process them — you probably won’t find out until your account is empty and you start getting NSF notices.

Remove the amount and recipient from the check and write it out to themselves instead. This is a bigger problem for institutional checks, which are often printed on a laser printer. It’s really easy to remove laser-printed text from an offset-printed check — just lay some Scotch tape over the laser text, rub it hard with your fingernail, and peel the text off. Then you can print out a new amount and recipient with your own laser printer, and it looks just like the real thing. Chemical agents (“check washing”) can do this with ball-point pen ink, too, though it’s not so easy.

Issue a demand draft (“paperless check.”) This is what happens when you pay by phone with your checking account number, or use an automated bill pay service, or send money via PayPal. Using your routing number and account number, money is simply removed from your account and put into someone else’s. No authorization or authentication is used, your name is not even required. Yes, really. Anyone can do this from any account to any other account. For a while, you used to be able to do this from a web site.

Second, there’s the difficulty in getting your money back or even stopping the fraud! With a credit card (and to a lesser extent, a debit card), it’s pretty simple — you call the bank, say you did not authorize a charge, and the credit card company removes the charge. It is then up to them to prove you did make the charge, such as by getting a signed receipt from the merchant and matching your signature. So long as you report the fraud within 30 days, you are not liable — the worst the card company can do to you is to cancel your card (but you still don’t have to pay for the charge you didn’t make.) In theory, you’re liable for up to $50, but almost no card issuers really charge this since it’s terrible customer service (“Sorry you were stolen from! Give us $50!”)

With checks, the money is already gone. If you report a check as fraudulent, there is no federal law saying the bank is liable — it’s up to the bank’s own policies and in some cases a hodgepodge of state laws whether they have to help you at all. The bank may get back to you in 60 to 90 days (during which you don’t have the money, even if it was the entire contents of your checking account.) You have to report the fraud on a paper letter, with a notarized signature, usually by certified mail. What’s more, you have to prove that the checks were not authorized — the burden of proof is on you, not the bank or merchant — and you have to do it to each party from which you’re trying to reclaim money. If a thief wrote bad checks in 20 different jurisdictions, you may be dealing with this for years.

Worse yet, you can’t stop the fraud from taking place. The thief can keep writing checks on your account even after you’ve started reporting them as fraud, and even after you’ve closed the account. Every time the thief writes a bad check on a closed account (the classic practice known as “paperhanging”, a favorite of Frank Abagnale during his criminal youth), your bank will reopen the account and send you an NSF notice. You have to dispute all of these, too. And finally, your account (and possibly your name) will go into ChexSystems (the equivalent of the credit bureaus used to check people’s checking account history) as fraudulent, which will make it difficult or impossible to get new checking accounts for many years. On the bright side, it will make it harder for the thief to open accounts in your name, but that’s little consolation since he can keep using the closed one he already has.

From a security perspective, checking accounts are horrid. They come from a day when authentication and authorization were unheard-of, and security came mainly from the idea that no one would figure out how to subvert the system.
What can you do to protect yourself?

Don’t use checks. If any method of payment is offered aside from checks, use that.

Don’t use demand drafts, either — they’re checks. Don’t pay by phone using a checking account number — use a credit/debit card.
If you must write paper checks, use them only to pay bills, dealing with relatively trusted merchants. It doesn’t make you totally safe, of course, but it helps some. Use gel ink to write checks (it’s harder to wash), or a dot-matrix printer to print them (the impact-printed ink is nigh-impossible to remove.) According to Abagnale’s The Art of the Steal, this makes check-washing nearly impossible (though ordering up new checks in your name still works.) Incidentally, The Art of the Steal is a fantastic (and very short) book, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in security — it gives a great view into the security mindset, looking at all parts of a system and seeing how it can be subverted.

Don’t store any more money in your checking account than you have to. You’ll still have to fight every fraudulent transaction to stop the bank trying to collect it from you, but at least you’ll still have your money while you’re doing it.

Some discussion between a good friend & I..

You are on the right track & asking the right questions..

"Then there is this deflation I don’t really understand. Energy prices are up. CL still moving around at high levels and NG over time coming from 1800 all the way up to an average 4500. This would be inflationary in general even without QE. So where is this deflation and where should we see it. I am sure as hell it’s not in prices when housing prices are not taken in account."

I think FED (central banks) are USING commodity prices to stop the deflation that the world's economy requires to heal. Think about it.. What better way to create inflation than to keep everyone's input costs very high? When / if you are a business you cannot lower prices due to deflationary pressures when your input costs remain very high. So the easiest way for central banksters to control prices (price stability my ass) is to control commodity prices. All developed economies are carbon based.. when oil prices stay high there is NO WAY anyone can reduce prices without taking losses & no one wants to do that.

"TV’s and stuff out of china could be deflationary but that is just a part of the whole package."

This DOES NOT COUNT! I have looked at & thought about electronics a lot. The standard "rules" of supply & demand do not apply to electronics at all. Why not? Because the "supply" of plastic & cheap electronics can never be an issue. This is why the electronics sector acts in a way that is the REVERSE of supply & demand.. In other words the more "demand" there is for a (cheaply manufactured) plastic/electronic gadget (ie; iPhone, etc) the lower the price goes.. New technology that has not very much demand is very high priced.. That is the OPPOSITE of how true supply & demand works. I mean think about it.. Retailers constantly give plastic away for free.. (plastic bags, plastic trays, plastic buttons, etc) Plastic is very cheap & can be molded into ANY shape desired. Supply & demand does NOT apply.. It's a trick #they have come up with. An inexhaustible supply of junk made from plastic that sheeple are dying to own to help the NSA SPY on them.

"Its all about the next step. Will it be war so we can start over the whole cycle like we did after WWII or is it going to be something else??"

WWII was an entirely different situation.. Back then nearly everyone was a sheeple & governments, including Germany, could play the patriotism card & the sheeple would follow. I don't think it's like that anymore. When Obama wanted to bomb Syria the American people said very loudly NO, no more war! Patriotism still exists but it has changed as people no longer trust their own governments. It is much easier now to see the pure propaganda #they spew out for what it is.

"Will the Sheeple except a raid on their money by the IMF or do we have to wait until the common man realizes pensions are gone."

#They will, and are now, come after the worthless fiat in an attempt to keep the ponzi game going, yes. The status quo will stop at nothing to retain their own power & wealth. And "stop at nothing" means what it says..

In the end I say the economy / capitalism REQUIRES deflation to flush the greed & corruption from the system but that CANNOT be allowed by the elite / status quo because if we had real deflation the entire existing status quo system would collapse and there is simply too much at stake for the power players for them to allow that to happen.

So yes.. it is likely war that will be tried next.. Mostly so governments can dramatically increase spending and support large industries directly..

This morning I have a long trade on $GBPUSD based on possible h4 / h1 correction due to short term bearish 161.8 (golden ratio) completion move. This completion move, when / if correctly drawn, indicates that at least a short term correction may be required.

http://www.mql5.com/en/charts/1866447/gbpusd-h4-hf-markets-ltd

And finally an entry is taken on m1 We can see long term HULL MA is in a bullish state with good support represented by 200 & 62 (=15 second 200 ema) with an add to the position near the long term HULL Solid break of long term HULL lower would invalidate this trade as such a break would open the possibility of a 261.8 fib completion. I will add stop losses later in case the add is achieved on long term HULL.

Assume that some of the new "Patriot Help" arriving in Nevada under the guise of militia are actually a few govt Jockeys dressed up like average Joe's to gather intelligence, create confusion, and basically gum up the works.
For a push against the American people, they chose the ground well. Deserts and plains are shit conditions to fight in, especially for new folks. It is an entirely different form of warfare than urban fighting, or even rural or mountain fighting. Open ground is a big no-no for infantry types of operations, especially folks without heavy ordinance, and there's little in the way of cover. We are going into the hot season there, and easy access to water is also a factor. Open ground with little to no cover makes patriots vulnerable from attacks via air. Of all of the terrains America has to offer, THIS terrain is the LEAST preferable or hospitable one to our purposes. An accident of fate? Me thinks not.....
If they come back for another push? Some ways to combat this?
1) Open new fronts ALL OVER AMERICA SIMULTANIOUSLY. If they attack our people, then a state of war exists. And every building that houses feds OR supports them needs to be seiged. Every last jackass that collects a federal paycheck or carries a federal ID will now be the enemy of the American people, I don't care if they're custodians, secretaries or cafeteria workers. They do the SUPPORT WORK THAT ENABLES THIS BALLBAGGERY, so they are every bit as guilty as the douches on the ground that are endangering American families. If they do federal bidding in ANY capacity, they are FEDS. Period. Their DEGREE of service no longer means dick.
2) Afford these jagoffs NO MORE ANONIMITY. The names, addresses, email addresses and such, of EVERY JACKASS on the ground in Nevada needs to be posted ALL OVER THE NET. As each incident occurs, ALL federal players need to be outed. No more anonimity! No more hiding behind masks, or no ID on their shirts, screw that. Anonimity is one of their greatest assets in subjugating us, and that needs to be taken away from them in short order. I wish i was more technically astute, as i have no idea how to even come across this kind of info, but i'll wager SOMEBODY OUT THERE in this network knows how to shake that kind of info loose, or knows someone that does. Wanna stop em dead in their tracks? THIS is the way to do it. They will be hesitant to shoot at OUR families when thy know that THEIR FAMILIES are on the line as well. That may smack of dirty pool, but hey.... WE didn't initiate this; THEY did. We didn't come after them, THEY came after us, and now present a CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER to American families.
The time for combating this nuisance via our intellects and reason is over....... If they come for our people, not an argument made on their behalf that pines for restraint, compassion or compromise...... They will have declared war on us.
My comments and sentiments can easily be viewed as controversial, and may be a tad aggressive for some tastes. But if they are about to declare all-out war on Americans, we had damn well better be ready to respond in kind, and quickly.

The Book of Enoch was omitted from the canon of scripture by the early church councils and is and rejected by theologians today, yet the lineage of Enoch is mentioned in Genesis.

And all things on the earth shall alter,
And shall not appear in their time:
And the moon shall alter her order,
And not appear at her time.
And in those days the sun shall be seen and he shall journey in the evening on the extremity of the great chariot in the west
And shall shine more brightly than accords with the order of light.
And many chiefs of the stars shall transgress the order (prescribed).
And these shall alter their orbits and tasks,
And not appear at the seasons prescribed to them.
And the whole order of the stars shall be concealed,
And the thoughts of those on the earth shall err concerning them,
