In my opinion, more truth here from Peter Schiff...

It seems, to me anyway, that ALL Washington and our kleptocratic leaders are interested in these days is how to 'convince' the American people that the economy is in better shape than it actually is...

'They' do this by hiding, as best they can, the actions they are taking to prop up our collapsed economy. It is my my opinion that our economy has collapsed and that the plutocracy is and will continue to do everything in their power to hide that fact from Americans and the rest of the world.

'They' do this also through manipulation, by government action, by Federal Reserve action, by Central Bank action. 'They' manipulate every economic number that 'they' can... The FED buys treasuries to make it appear as if there is some sort of demand for them in the world, there isn't... The FED buys Mortgage Backed Securities as if they have have any worth, they don't. The government spends spends and spends in hopes of affecting GDP in a positive way. 'They' outright lie and or obscure the true depth and devastation of the unemployment numbers by reporting the number as being, now, under 10% when in reality it is much closer to 20% than 10%

What drives all of these lies, manipulations and cover ups?

In a word... politics...

The #elites in this country, and indeed in the world, know that their day is done but 'they' will fight tooth and nail to hang onto every single bit of luxury and decadence (#greed and #power) that they can...

Come November of 2010 I will conclude for myself whether Americans are insane or not based solely on their votes...

It is way past time to throw out ALL incumbents!
