fabric of free American Institutions. It is the giant of giant robbers, threatening every phase of our national life and demanding toll on every dollar's
worth of production. Let the ungodly thing be banished from our midst and
labor be brought at once to the front.
Herein lies the whole contention.
Mr. Speaker, we lay it down as a proposition that can not be
successfully controverted, and one that the Eleventh Census
corroborates, that high interest, high transportation, and high
tariff ha\^ greatly impoverished one section of country while
they have built up another; that banks, railroads, and manufacturers are controlling the distribution of wealth in this country
to-day. Let facts be submitted to a candid, thinking people.

Here's the deal with #ObamaCare

A lot of, uninsured, people don't really WANT to use the healthcare system in the good ole #USA because it COSTS too much!
I know someone who recently had an infected neck gland & was suffering from pain and swelling. They had no health #insurance and visited a local clinic to get what was, obviously to any fool, needed. Some antibiotic.
This person refused the doctors efforts to do do a multitude of "testing" & x-rays only to still end up with a bill for $1,000.00. For a 5 minute visit with a doctor and some antibiotic!
As I have always said.. People want access to affordable health CARE / NOT un-affordable health INSURANCE.
So how is our kleptocratic #government planning to address the issue of high health care cost? By forcing every #American to purchase an insurance policy. Either from a #private retail business or from a government exchange.
Now while I understand that those elite who #RULE us may think $1,000.00 (of worthless PAPER #FIAT) may be very affordable access to health care I also know many people who would strongly disagree with that analysis.
However, even given the example above, $1,000.00 out of pocket isn't going to destroy most people.. It wouldn't be fun, exactly, but likely not too devastating..
Hell.. say a person gets really sick 4 times a year and pays $1,000.00 each time that's 4 grand a year for health care..
Now with this health INSURANCE SCAM the government is going to transfer $20,000.00 or more a year from YOUR pocket straight to the bottom line of publicly traded insurance companies.
It is now and always has been in my opinion a massive #bailout of insurance companies. The #fear of the entire F.I.R.E. #economy collapsing is plenty of motivation for the government to STEAL our worthless fiat to prop it all up.. Add the Federal Reserve bank and a complicit United States Supreme Court into the mix and we are most definitely screwed.. IMHO

Under Obamacare, Americans will be required to buy health insurance or pay a penalty to the IRS.
The IRS's assumption that the cheapest plan for a family will cost $20,000 per year is found in examples the IRS gives to help people understand how to calculate the penalty they will need to pay the government if they do not buy a mandated health plan.

WASHINGTON — Two of the three most infamous Supreme Court decisions were erased by events. The Civil War and postwar constitutional amendments effectively overturned Dred Scott v. Sandford (1857), which held that blacks could never have rights that whites must respect. Plessy v. Ferguson (1896), which upheld legally enforced segregation, was undone by court decisions and legislation.
Korematsu v. United States (1944), which affirmed the president’s wartime power to sweep Americans of disfavored racial groups into concentration camps, elicited a 1988 congressional apology. Now Peter Irons, founder of the Earl Warren Bill of Rights Project at the University of California, San Diego, is campaigning for a Supreme Court “repudiation” of the Korematsu decision and other Japanese internment rulings.
A repudiation would be unprecedented, but an essay that Irons is circulating among constitutional law professors whose support he seeks is timely reading in today’s context of anti-constitutional presidencies, particularly regarding war powers.
On Feb. 19, 1942, President Franklin Roosevelt authorized the military to “prescribe military areas … from which any or all persons may be excluded.” So 110,000 Americans of Japanese ancestry, two-thirds of them born here, were sent to camps in desolate Western locations. Supposedly, this was a precaution against espionage and sabotage. Actually, it rested entirely on the racial animus of Gen. John DeWitt, head of the Western Defense Command.
Using government records, Irons demonstrates that because senior officials, including Solicitor General Charles Fahy, committed “numerous and knowing acts of governmental misconduct,” the court based its decision on “records and arguments that were fabricated and fraudulent.” Officials altered and destroyed evidence that would have revealed the racist motives for the internments. And to preserve the pretext of a “military necessity” for the concentration camps, officials suppressed reports on the lack of evidence of disloyalty or espionage by Japanese- Americans.
The 1943 “Final Report” on Japanese “evacuation,” prepared under DeWitt’s direction and signed by him, said a Japanese invasion was probable, that “racial characteristics” of Japanese- Americans predisposed them to assist the invasion, and that is was “impossible” to distinguish loyal from disloyal Japanese-American citizens, if there were any: “The Japanese race is an enemy race and while many second- and third-generation Japanese born on United States soil, possessed of United States citizenship, have become ‘Americanized,’ the racial strains are undiluted.”

POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. — April Gregory spends part of each week in a warm, sometimes stuffy laundry on the campus of College of the Ozarks, washing, drying and pressing clothes and linens.
The college sophomore from Harrison, Ark., also maintains an off-campus job and has held summer jobs, but she’s not complaining. Her jobs — plus a new no-debt policy at her school — will ensure that she graduates in a few years without any debt to her name.
“It’s definitely a lot of hard work,” said Gregory, who is majoring in animal science and agriculture business. “You’re just working for your education so you don’t have to pay it off. Just to know that you’re graduating and you can focus on getting a place to live, or a job, and you don’t have to pay (your education) off — you can focus on other things, like a car. We will have more freedom than being tied down to debt.”
During a time when most students are graduating from college with loan debt, College of the Ozarks, a private, four-year school of nearly 1,400 students near Branson, is swimming against the tide. It has long discouraged student debt by not participating in any federal or state loan programs, and its president, Jerry C. Davis, recently announced that the college will no longer honor private bank loans for students.
“Basically what we’re saying is if you want to borrow money, go somewhere else,” he said. “Trust me, there are plenty of colleges that will loan you money. This is not one of them.”
Davis said that in recent years, an average of 90 percent of the college’s students were graduating debt-free thanks in part to the school’s debt policies. But administrators had also been noticing a slight uptick in the number of private loans being taken out to help cover college costs, he said.
“We don’t think that’s a good idea because debt is bad,” he said. “We would not be doing these kids a favor by letting them get into debt. You could argue it’s a disservice. You’re just giving them another brick to swim with when they get out.”
‘Hard Work U’
Under the system that has given the college its “Hard Work U” nickname, students pay for their tuition, which was $17,600 for the 2011-12 academic year, by working on campus each semester for 15 hours per week, plus two 40-hour work weeks. They fill a variety of roles, including upkeep of the scenic campus, staffing the college’s restaurant and lodge, operating the on-campus laundry business, labor of new on-campus construction and tending to the school’s dairy and beef farms.
Any remaining tuition balances not covered through the work education program are filled in with a student’s grants, if eligible, and a scholarship from the college, which boasts on its website that “students should owe absolutely no cash for tuition.”
“It’s better for students to work than it is for students to go in debt,” Davis said.
The college also has a summer program for eligible students to work 12 40-hour work weeks at their campus job to cover the costs of room and board fees, which total $5,900.
Davis said fewer than 100 students are expected to be affected next year by the new policy excluding private loans, which they generally used toward room and board. To assist with the transition, he said the college will increase the number of slots in its summer work program from about 490 to roughly 550.
“At least there’s going to be one college to stand up and say: ‘There’s a better way to do this,’” he said. “And it’s called work.”
‘150 steps ahead’
Amanda Hart, a sophomore from Jefferson City who is majoring in elementary education, works on the “guest experience team,” greeting visitors to the college lodge and also taking responsibility for its cleaning. She said that work, plus a scholarship and her college savings, cover her tuition, while she hopes to be accepted into the summer work program this year to pay for her room and board.
Although she is still a few years away from graduation, she said she expects to obtain her bachelor’s degree without incurring any debt — and that was a major reason she chose College of the Ozarks.
“I wanted to be able to go wherever there was a need (for teachers) and not worry about making enough to pay off student loans,” she said.
Ruben De La Rosa, a senior from Pleasant Hill, expects to graduate next month with a degree in criminal justice with an emphasis in law enforcement. Having worked two campus jobs, as both a server and a student manager in the college’s restaurant, Dobyns Dining Room, he said he plans to take next year off to work and save some additional cash before pursuing his goal of working in the CIA.
De La Rosa didn’t choose College of the Ozarks because of its work program or debt-free policies, but he said he now considers himself lucky to be on the cusp of graduation without any debt weighing him down.
“Truth be told, it’s a very big blessing to be here,” he said. “As I’m getting closer to graduation, it’s such a relief to know I’m only taking care of my own personal stuff (financially). We’re like 150 steps ahead of the average college student.”
No other way to pay
At other schools in the region, loans are still very much a part of the average college student’s life.
“For a lot of students, if they didn’t have access to those student loans, there wouldn’t be any way they could pay to go to school,” said Michael Woodrum, office manager for financial assistance at Pittsburg (Kan.) State University.
Woodrum said Pell and other federal and state grants help cover the cost of tuition for eligible students, and loans are often used by students — especially those who are just above the threshold of grant eligibility — to help fill in the gaps of their college costs.
“For a lot of them, it’s the student loans that really make the difference in them being able to attend Pitt State,” he said.
Woodrum said the university offers a financial planning component in its freshman orientation class, which is required of first-year students. Students who borrow are also required to complete an Education Department-sponsored online counseling session that informs them of interest rates, expected monthly payments, general information on borrowing and more, he said.
Officials report a similar reliance on loans among many students at Missouri Southern State University, where the typical four-year student borrows about $19,600 for a bachelor’s degree.
“We do realize that many students have to utilize student loans to come up with the difference (in college costs) that their family cannot provide or other grants and scholarships don’t cover,” said Becca Diskin, director of the financial aid office.
Diskin said incoming students receive information on loans through their freshman orientation class and Southern Welcome, the summer orientation program. Students who have borrowed also are required to complete counseling before they graduate, working one-on-one with a debt counselor on campus to go over what their payments might look like and what their repayment options are, she said.
The university’s default counselor also works with students who have already graduated but who need advice or assistance with their loans, Diskin said.

A report released last fall by the Project on Student Debt noted that students in the class of 2011 who borrowed in college graduated with an average of $26,600 in loan debt, up from $25,250 the year before.

Strange #Coincidences - the Original Substance, #God, #prayer, #trading & guided missiles

More strange coincidences..
I had a small book which I read for the first time maybe 2 or 3 years ago.. I found it very fascinating as it spoke about an "original substance" from which everything is made
"Everything you see on earth is made from one original substance, out of which all things proceed."
"The formless stuff is intelligent; it is stuff which thinks. It is alive, and is always impelled toward more life."
After I read it I set it aside.
A couple of years later I desired to read it again and looked for it here at the house.
I searched pretty hard for it. In the office and, eventually, through boxes stored in the garage to no avail.
Couldn't find it anywhere..
I don't know if I displaced it or loaned it out to someone. I may have loaned it to my sister but I really don't recall.
At that point my problem was I could recall nothing of any importance to help me find the book again. I couldn't remember the title of it, or the author. Nor could I even figure out a proper way to search for it on google. The book was more about a spiritual concept than a particular topic / subject.
All I could recall about it was that it suggested, as stated above, an intelligent formless original substance from which everything is made.
And I remembered one particular passage of the book that I found to be a stunning description of the way the #human #mind SHOULD work.
I'm paraphrasing but it went something like..
We have the #ability to properly impress a particular #goal into our #mind in such a way as to #program our mind to autopilot in search of a #solution. To constantly work in our favor, in the background, to achieve the desired goal.
This was indicated by comparing the procedure itself to a guided missile.
The way a guided missile works is it has a pre-programmed target, or goal. As it is in flight a computer constantly tests the trajectory of the missile against the position of the target. As adjustments become necessary small servo motors activate to keep the missile on the right path so it can successfully reach it's goal.
I found that to be a fascinating concept. It stuck in my mind and was behind my strong desire to reread the book.
It seemed to me that might be the perfect technique to use when trading forex / financial markets.
Yesterday I took the day off. No twitter, no trading (until later lol Short #AUDJPY & #CADJPY) but spent a portion of the day with my wife, son and daughter garage / yard / rummage saling (something we enjoy as a #fun #hobby ;)

I want to interject a, seemingly unrelated, short story here that ended up being related to the main theme of this post (if you can figure out what that is LMAO).
Not only do we enjoy going to yard sales but also antique stores and flea markets.
I am a voracious collector of books and that is where I normally spend the majority of time in flea markets. We have a little family #joke about one particular book at one particular flea market. I first ran across it many months ago. The title is "The Secret" and it promises to solve any and all #issues in life ;) But the owners of the booth want $5.00 #USD for it. So, the first time I found it, I joked to my wife and son about how this one book contained the solutions to everything in the entire history of humanity but kidding about that not being worth 5 bucks. So I didn't buy it ;) A few months later I saw it again, in the same booth with the same price tag and joked about it again along the same lines as before. (end short story).

While my son buys a lot of movies, CDs and video games, I often buy books, lots of them. I pay 0.50 to a dollar for a lot of very old books and also for newer books of interest. Like yesterday I bought "The best recipe Grilling & Barbecue" by the Editors of COOK'S Illustrated Magazine. A 2001, $30.00 cook book for $1.00
At one sale I ran across a book titled "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace D. Wattles.

For some reason I was attracted to it after just reading the back cover.
To my surprise as I immediately began reading it, in the car, between sale stops, it was the book I had misplaced!
And not only that either.. On the front of the book it says "The Book That Inspired the Bestseller - The Secret"! The very same book I had joked about in the flea market.
So was I attracted to it? Was it attracted to me? Were we attracted to each other?
Mere interrelated coincidences?

I'm an obsessive compulsive about acquiring knowledge.

I believe in God and #history though my beliefs might be found by many to be quite unorthodox.
However, one thing that I have struggled with a great deal has been the #concept of #prayer.
Most of the prayer I have heard in my lifetime has seemed by #rote.. (Noun
Mechanical or habitual repetition of something to be learned: "a poem learned by rote".)
So, as I have experienced quite a #Spiritual revival over the course of the past few years, I have been trying to reconnect with / explore the concept of prayer.
However my problem in doing so has been that when I attempt to pray it seems oddly as if I am just "talking to myself". I have had a very difficult time getting past that feeling.
I do a lot of research on "weird crap" lol And "in my own mind" (a place where I exist often) I seem to have now connected the concept of prayer to other concepts in an effort to deepen my understanding of it. Such as; I do a lot of research into ancient Sumerian civilization and texts. Stories of the Anunnaki / Planet X / Nibiru. Dead sea scrolls / Isiah and other prophets. The bible. The book of Enoch. Egyptian history / pyramids. The Ancient Aliens television program. Much more ;)
It seems like if the ancient Sumerian creation stories are taken literally, as #historic fact, they can easily be tied to prayer.
The story, briefly, is that "long, long ago" the Anunnaki created #humanity, in their image, through genetic engineering, so as to have slaves to do the hard work of gold mining on planet earth. If this is accepted as being truth then it seems to me that it would make sense to think of prayer as being a way to directly communicate with the alien DNA that we all possess. Which, at least in theory, is also very similar to talking to yourself.
There are some pretty amazing sounding references to prayer in the bible. This from Jesus Himself..
Mar 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Mar 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Which is remarkably similar to..

I pray for closeness to #God, for access to the knowledge, wisdom and understanding so endorsed by the bible itself.
So much to learn about, understand, that it's a very daunting task.. But I still love the chase ;)

More strange coincidences..
I had a small book which I read for the first time maybe 2 or 3 years ago.. I found it very fascinating as it spoke about an "original substance" from which everything is made
"Everything you see on earth is made from one original substance, out of which all things proceed."
"The formless stuff is intelligent; it is stuff which thinks. It is alive, and is always impelled toward more life."
After I read it I set it aside.
A couple of years later I desired to read it again and looked for it here at the house.
I searched pretty hard for it. In the office and, eventually, through boxes stored in the garage to no avail.
Couldn't find it anywhere..
I don't know if I displaced it or loaned it out to someone. I may have loaned it to my sister but I really don't recall.
At that point my problem was I could recall nothing of any importance to help me find the book again. I couldn't remember the title of it, or the author. Nor could I even figure out a proper way to search for it on google. The book was more about a spiritual concept than a particular topic / subject.
All I could recall about it was that it suggested, as stated above, an intelligent formless original substance from which everything is made.
And I remembered one particular passage of the book that I found to be a stunning description of the way the #human #mind SHOULD work.
I'm paraphrasing but it went something like..
We have the #ability to properly impress a particular #goal into our #mind in such a way as to #program our mind to autopilot in search of a #solution. To constantly work in our favor, in the background, to achieve the desired goal.
This was indicated by comparing the procedure itself to a guided missile.
The way a guided missile works is it has a pre-programmed target, or goal. As it is in flight a computer constantly tests the trajectory of the missile against the position of the target. As adjustments become necessary small servo motors activate to keep the missile on the right path so it can successfully reach it's goal.
I found that to be a fascinating concept. It stuck in my mind and was behind my strong desire to reread the book.
It seemed to me that might be the perfect technique to use when trading forex / financial markets.
Yesterday I took the day off. No twitter, no trading (until later lol Short #AUDJPY & #CADJPY) but spent a portion of the day with my wife, son and daughter garage / yard / rummage saling (something we enjoy as a #fun #hobby ;)
