This costs $14,768 per U.S. household, equal to 23 percent of the average household income of $63,685. Regulatory compliance costs exceed the combined sum of income taxes paid by corporations ($237 billion) and individuals ($1.165 trillion). Then add $61 billion in on-budget spending by agencies that administer regulations.
Crews' "Anti-Democracy Index" measures "the ratio of regulations issued by agencies relative to laws passed by Congress." In 2012, the index was 29, meaning that 29 times more regulations were issued by agencies than there were laws passed by Congress. "This disparity," Crews writes, "highlights a substantial delegation of lawmaking power to unelected agency officials."

I am going to share something with you.. and hope NOT to write a book lol
I was raised as a Southern Baptist & forced to attend church pretty much against my will when I was younger. This had the effect of turning me sour on religion in general & especially so as far as organized religion is concerned b/c I saw so much hypocrisy in it, even as young as 14 or so..
That hypocrisy still exists today & likely even more so. To me the "organized" church has fallen into extreme disrepair as it seems to concern itself more with material things than spirituality.
I claimed to be an atheist for many years & eventually softened a bit to more an agnostic stance.
However, after my own job loss & bankruptcy story in 2003, the economic collapse of 2008, the scary creeping control of government tyranny, including the obvious militarization of every police force in the country I began to lose trust in everything that had made sense to me for years previously.
My life & views began to change independently.
I began to do a great deal of research on the history of religion.
It has ALWAYS been with us since the beginning of time.
As I studied, especially the ancient texts of the Sumerians, but also the book of Enoch & the bible itself, I came to realize there is simply too much there, too much information & recorded history, for me to be able to realistically deny the existence of "something", of spirituality, of a beginning somewhere in our distant past.
However it was the work of Sitchin, in large part, which began to mold my opinion(s) of the past.
Scientists now say that that the existence of other life forms in the universe is all but guaranteed by nothing other than the sheer numbers involved. Over time it became obvious to me that aliens likely do exist "somewhere out there". Many scientists also now suggest the possibility that more advanced civilizations could have, possibly, existed on earth long before our own time.
It didn't take much of a leap of faith for me to tie the two concepts together..
That "God" was, is and always will be an "alien being from elsewhere" (or God from heaven, if you prefer). Part of a race so much further advanced than ourselves as to make it quite impossible to consider the entity anything but a "God".
IMHO, Sitchin makes the case extremely well..
Similar to earlier authors such as Immanuel Velikovsky and Erich von Däniken, Sitchin advocated hypotheses in which extraterrestrial events supposedly played a significant role in ancient human history.
According to Sitchin's interpretation of Mesopotamian iconography and symbology, outlined in his 1976 book The 12th Planet and its sequels, there is an undiscovered planet beyond Neptunethat follows a long, elliptical orbit, reaching the inner solar system roughly every 3,600 years. However.. in the end I decided so what? So what if it is stupid? Why not try it, in earnest, just to see WTF happens? What harm could come from it? It's a personal thing, I can do it in secret..

Mat_17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Mat_21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

My what a power this seems worthy of lusting after!
In part I convinced myself that perhaps prayer is a "communications ability / system" that the Anunnaki built directly into our human DNA..
So I did.. I tried it.. I began to pray. That was maybe 2 or 3 months ago..
I didn't pray for pips or wealth or power.. I prayed for the ability to effectively use the "gifts" that were bestowed upon humanity by God / the Anunnaki. For wisdom, understanding and knowledge.
The results of this impromptu experiment have been nothing short of amazing.
Since then, in a very short time, my trading has improved dramatically. My account has begun to go in the right direction, consistently, for the 1st time ever. Also the Mrs & I are buying a house in the country with 3 acres & lots of beautiful trees for next to nothing, with a loan with a 2% interest rate.. This alone promises to increase our wealth to a large extent.
Now.. we can call these coincidences just that.. or we can call these events the result of "the power of positive thinking".. or we can call it merely "good luck".. or we could, if we choose to do so, call it the power of prayer or the grace of God.
It really matters not what one chooses to call it.

WASHINGTON – The president and chief executive officer of The Associated Press on Sunday called the government's secret seizure of two months of reporters' phone records "unconstitutional" and said the news cooperative had not ruled out legal action against the Justice Department.
Gary Pruitt, in his first television interviews since it was revealed the Justice Department subpoenaed phone records of AP reporters and editors, said the move already has had a chilling effect on journalism. Pruitt said the seizure has made sources less willing to talk to AP journalists and, in the long term, could limit Americans' information from all news outlets.
Pruitt told CBS' "Face the Nation" that the government has no business monitoring the AP's newsgathering activities.
"And if they restrict that apparatus ... the people of the United States will only know what the government wants them to know and that's not what the framers of the Constitution had in mind when they wrote the First Amendment," he said.
In a separate interview with the AP, Pruitt said the news cooperative had not decided its next move but had not ruled out legal action against the government.
"It's too early to know if we'll take legal action but I can tell you we are positively displeased and we do feel that our constitutional rights have been violated," he said.
"They've been secretive, they've been overbroad and abusive — so much so that taken together, they are unconstitutional because they violate our First Amendment rights," he added.

"JCP Card holder for 20+ years
Helpful to 4 out of 4 people I have been a JCP card holder and avid shopper for over twenty years. Admittedly I spend much more on my Nordstrom card and about equally on my Macy's. I always pay my payment on time , and usually for far more than the minimum amount due. As a matter of fact I make it a rule to completely pay off this and the other two every January and July to avoid the interest incurring.
So imagine my surprise when in the midst of the December holidays I receive an email from GE Capital asking me to contact them about my account. Adding to my surprise is a representative informing me no payments had been posted since October. Keeping the rep on the line I retrieved my cash payment receipts. I relayed the numbers they asked for , and was told the payments were credited and they were sorry for the mistake. The following day I sent off the upcoming January 2013 pmt for the entire balance. One last thing to do in the new year.
So today 1/28/13 needing some new clothes before heading to Belize for the winter, I stopped by JCP. A little Leary after my recent experience I called from the car to make sure my payments had indeed been properly credited. The automated system assured me my next payment of $2.12 was due on 2/6/13. True an odd amount, but I assumed I must have just misread the amount by that amount when I paid off the balance. No big deal! After two hours and much trying on and many trips to stock pile my choices, I was ready to check out and head for Macy's.
The total came to around $1250.00 and I handed over my card. imagine my surprise when it was declined. As a frequent shopper and Platinum card holder, I know most of my local stores associates. Saying they'd been having issues all day, she swiped the card again and even again. To no avail. Perplexed the associate called GE. After a full five minutes a GE associate came on the line and said I had to pay the $2.12 in order to use my account!
So I paid the amount and we tried again - yep you got it , declined! The associate calls over her manager and we call GE and wait over ten minutes this time for a GE associate. We are told 'yes' they posted the $2.12 pmt, but my credit limit is $1245.00. The JCP associate aware of my actual credit limit of well over ten times that amount asks to speak to 'her' supervisor.
Any way twenty minutes later I am informed due to my not making a payment since October 2012 (yes we are back to that) my credit limit has been lowered!! I reiterated their earlier mishap with the Oct / Nov pmt AND I give them the check #, amount ( for the entire balance) and date THEY cashed it!
Once again they claim no payment had been made and I must call back with the info from the receipts I have at home. Disgusted I gave up! I would have walked away leaving the whole lot, but it truly wasn't the sales people's fault. Instead I paid by check and left.
Once home I called the brain trust that is GE Capitol, statements, receipts and bank info in hand. Oh yes, they found the payments, oh yes they apologized - BUT it will take awhile to restore my original credit limit AND report THEIR mistake to the credit reporting agencies!
I recorded this conversation and demanded they send me a corrected statement and a copy of their correction to the credit reporting agencies. I would have closed the account if that, too wouldn't look bad for ME!! So I will continue to be a JCP card holder - BUT I will NEVER use it OR shop at JCP again! Period! Hope the $25k average I spend there annually is better appreciated at Macy's & Nordy's!!"

U KNOW this is complete BS.. F'ing credit cards still want damn near 30% How TF do U think consumers can EVER get their finances back on track? ALL the major retailers credit card APRs START at 25% or more!

Helpful to 4 out of 4 people I have been a JCP card holder and avid shopper for over twenty years. Admittedly I spend much more on my Nordstrom card and about equally on my Macy's. I always pay my payment on time , and usually for far more than the minimum amount due. As a matter of fact I make it a rule to completely pay off this and the other two every January and July to avoid the interest incurring.
So imagine my surprise when in the midst of the December holidays I receive an email from GE Capital asking me to contact them about my account. Adding to my surprise is a representative informing me no payments had been posted since October. Keeping the rep on the line I retrieved my cash payment receipts. I relayed the numbers they asked for , and was told the payments were credited and they were sorry for the mistake. The following day I sent off the upcoming January 2013 pmt for the entire balance. One last thing to do in the new year.
So today 1/28/13 needing some new clothes before heading to Belize for the winter, I stopped by JCP. A little Leary after my recent experience I called from the car to make sure my payments had indeed been properly credited. The automated system assured me my next payment of $2.12 was due on 2/6/13. True an odd amount, but I assumed I must have just misread the amount by that amount when I paid off the balance. No big deal! After two hours and much trying on and many trips to stock pile my choices, I was ready to check out and head for Macy's.
The total came to around $1250.00 and I handed over my card. imagine my surprise when it was declined. As a frequent shopper and Platinum card holder, I know most of my local stores associates. Saying they'd been having issues all day, she swiped the card again and even again. To no avail. Perplexed the associate called GE. After a full five minutes a GE associate came on the line and said I had to pay the $2.12 in order to use my account!
So I paid the amount and we tried again - yep you got it , declined! The associate calls over her manager and we call GE and wait over ten minutes this time for a GE associate. We are told 'yes' they posted the $2.12 pmt, but my credit limit is $1245.00. The JCP associate aware of my actual credit limit of well over ten times that amount asks to speak to 'her' supervisor.
Any way twenty minutes later I am informed due to my not making a payment since October 2012 (yes we are back to that) my credit limit has been lowered!! I reiterated their earlier mishap with the Oct / Nov pmt AND I give them the check #, amount ( for the entire balance) and date THEY cashed it!
Once again they claim no payment had been made and I must call back with the info from the receipts I have at home. Disgusted I gave up! I would have walked away leaving the whole lot, but it truly wasn't the sales people's fault. Instead I paid by check and left.
Once home I called the brain trust that is GE Capitol, statements, receipts and bank info in hand. Oh yes, they found the payments, oh yes they apologized - BUT it will take awhile to restore my original credit limit AND report THEIR mistake to the credit reporting agencies!
I recorded this conversation and demanded they send me a corrected statement and a copy of their correction to the credit reporting agencies. I would have closed the account if that, too wouldn't look bad for ME!! So I will continue to be a JCP card holder - BUT I will NEVER use it OR shop at JCP again! Period! Hope the $25k average I spend there annually is better appreciated at Macy's & Nordy's!!"

If YOUR #economy didn't depend entirely on DEBT that wouldn't be a #problem!

You have single handedly DESTROYED all trust and confidence in REALITY. You, the Federal Reserve Bank, the United States government, and a complicit main stream media, have completely DISMANTLED our capitalist system.
You support consumer debt payments with tax payer subsidized "safety net" programs [ie; those Americans fortunate enough to still be a wage slave get to pay for the food, housing, credit cards, and everything else, for those who are fortunate enough to no longer live in the matrix.]
