Insurance Industry Already Finding Loopholes

The new health care reform bill has barely been signed into law and already insurance companies are finding ways to avoid providing one of its centerpiece benefits touted by President Obama: coverage for children with pre-existing conditions. Congress meant to stop insurance companies from discriminating against children with chronic diseases like asthma, diabetes, birth defects and cystic fibrosis, and the law does say that if a company sells a health insurance policy, it has to cover these kinds of pre-existing conditions for children. But now companies are arguing that they don't have to sell the policies in the first place -- at least not until 2014 -- and if they do, they can hike the premiums to whatever amount they need to cover the additional costs. John D. Rockefeller IV (D-West Virginia) said, "The ink has not yet dried on the health care reform bill, and already some deplorable health insurance companies are trying to duck away from covering children with pre-existing conditions. This is outrageous.”

Am I surprised by this development? No... of course not, not at all... We ALL know how the insurance industry works in this country...

Here is the portion of this piece that I do not believe...

After nearly 18 months of working on this thing are they trying to tell us that the congress was once again just too stupid to get it done right? Somehow I find that very difficult to believe...

In my opinion it is merely propaganda...

*I* think HOWEVER this health care bill is designed most likely that is the way it was meant to be designed. Full of holes... I suspect that during all the meetings between the administration and the drug companies and the insurance companies the 'loopholes' were intentionally written into the bill...

Remember Senator Chris Dodd's last minute change on the stimulus bill that allowed the huge bonus' of Wall Street TARP recipients to continue uninterrupted?

Here's a refresher...


Never forget that our kleptocratic leaders in Washington THINK that they are smarter than we are... That they are still operating in the old system, the pre-information explosion system...

These cronyism loopholes have ALWAYS been used in Washington by BOTH parties... It is so they can SAY 'look at the wonderful things we have accomplished for YOU, the American people'. While at the same time using amendments and legal mumbo jumbo language to intentionally create loop holes and set asides and restrictions and exemptions! It's complete, I'm sorry, bullshit!

Look at the state of our tax code! By now nearly the whole damn thing is one huge contradiction!

So how could anyone in congress, in Washington DC or in the public be surprised to find out that the health care bill is full of the same sort of language and loop holes?!

Don't you see that congress is juxtaposing itself against the insurance industry for show only?! It is my opinion that GovCorp is merely attempting to position itself against populist anger. The insurance companies are the imaginary 'whipping boys'. While congress and the administration verbally beat them up publicly the insurance companies, drug companies and others in the health care industry are laughing all the way to the proverbial bank!

As *I* have said all along... This health care bill has ALWAYS been designed as a huge profit windfall for the health care industry because the entire health care industry is a bubble in grave danger of collapsing! By adding 32 MILLION brand new customers for insurance companies who are about to go broke. These 32 MILLION new customers will be using health care services and buying DRUGS from the drug companies.

It IS and always has been a huge money grab FROM the American tax payer BY the United States government who will then turn over that collected tax money directly to the health care industry!

There is NO protection in the bill that prevents insurance companies from raising their premiums as often and/or as high as they like! There is NO protection in the health care bill that prevents drug companies from raising their prices as often and/or as high as they like! In FACT there ARE provisions that PROTECT the PROFITS of drug makers!

And, after BILLIONS of dollars of YOUR wealth has been stolen from you don't you dare expect anything in the health care industry to change at all until at least 2014!

With the exception of higher premiums! And higher costs all around, throughout the health care industry...

We CANNOT be so apathetic and docile so as to accept as James K. Galbraith says...

"... restricting the flow of thought and shrinking the sphere of admissible debate." And, paraphrased, limiting the range of presentable ideas, conveniently setting an entire panoply of reasoned discourse beyond the pale of what CAN be said, at least in public, by reputable people. There IS a process of internalization, of self-censorship. Once the 'rules' and 'boundaries' are understood, adherence becomes reflexive, and at the end of the day people come to think ONLY what it is permitted to think. They know, instinctively, when they might be "going too far".

*I* will continue, intentionally, to "go too far" in my own speech... *I* will continue to call for peaceful resistance and civil disobedience whenever and wherever possible. I will continue to hope that many Americans will join me in doing so. We are being rail-roaded badly. Completely 'run over' by a GovCorp that is COMPLETELY out of control.

WASHINGTON - Chalk one up for the pharmaceutical lobby. The U.S. drug industry fended off price curbs and other hefty restrictions in President Barack Obama's health care law even as it prepares for plenty of new business when an estimated 32 million uninsured Americans gain health coverage.


Pharmaceutical interests spent $188 million lobbying last year, more than all but a handful of industry sectors, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics. They employed an army of 1,105 lobbyists.

And after years of funneling most of its campaign contributions to Republicans, the industry has favored Democrats with 56 percent of the $5 million it has handed candidates so far this year. The biggest recipient, by far, of the industry's 2008 election cycle contributions of $13.8 million was Obama, who received $1.2 million for his presidential campaign.

Here is one health care 'process' we go through in this country...

Say you're a 50 something year old male suffering from moderate to sever pain for no other reason than the body you inherited from your family...

So finally you make a Doctor's appointment, likely weeks in the future... So you wait... Then you go. Once you get there you discover that the Doctor won't really so much as talk to you until you have a regular examination... So that's what the first appointment becomes... And you 'pay'...

Then you set up a second appointment to see the Doctor again about your initial problem, pain...

So you go back a second time, weeks later, and the Doctor write you a script for some 'kick ass' pain pills. Hydrocodone maybe.... And you 'pay' again...

So then you take that script to a pharmacy where you, finally, 'pay' someone some 'money' in return for your 'drugs'.

The 'drugs' coming, of course, from the large pharmaceutical companies...

Or, I guess alternatively, you 'could' just happen to know someone who knows someone who can get you the 'pain meds' you need without all the bullshit wealth grabbing in between.

I mean come on... It's not like you have to be a 'rocket scientist' to figure out that you are in a lot of 'pain' and would benefit from the use of some hydrocodone.

That's why there is a 'drug war' (and health care 'reform'). Because we, the people, are already designing a better 'drug distribution system' ourselves... In the end you're handing 'someone' some 'money' for your 'drugs' either way you go...

The real 'drug war' is being waged against the American people...

The pharmaceutical companies, the Doctors and the pharmacies can't take the competition...

Legislating lifestyles

So now 'they' want to run health care...

You know, it might be different if our kleptocratic government had proven, in the past, that 'they' could run ANYTHING right! Look around... The post office is bankrupt, medicare/medicaid is bankrupt, social security is bankrupt, the FHA and the FDIC are bankrupt, the entire financial system is 'insolvent' to use a polite term...

So now our entire medical industry, starting, only starting, with the SCANDALOUS insurance companies, is about to go 'belly up'...

Who among us us is 'foolish' enough to believe that 'health care reform' has ANYTHING to do with laudable goals like 'quality, affordable health care for all Americans'? Raise your hands... please... I want to know who you are lol

Health care 'reform' is OBVIOUSLY a MASSIVE bailout! Like none we have ever seen before...

What really set me off (this time...) is what I have been hearing about lately, over the past several days... That some of the health care 'bills', including the senate version, allows insurance companies to extract much larger premiums from Americans who are 'deemed' to lead an 'unhealthy' lifestyle. WHO will be determining WHAT is an unhealthy lifestyle?! The insurance companies themselves?! The government?! Come on!

What ELSE may constitute an 'unhealthy' lifestyle in the future?! Lack of membership in a gym maybe?! Are mandatory fitness regimes next?

It is 'OBVIOUSLY' unconstitutional, as if anyone still cares, for our kleptocratic 'leaders' to mandate the purchase of ANY 'product' from ANY 'private' company/industry/sector. It's unheard of. It's unimaginable... This should have been thrown out by some court somewhere before the words were ever spoken.

We have luxury taxes and we have sin taxes... Not saying we SHOULD have them but we do. The federal government already instituted a huge tax increase on the 20/25% of the population who smoke. Now 'they' nonchalantly discuss taxing soda pop... 'They' are looking at a multitude of ways to 'come after our money'...

So now 'they' are about to annoint 'themselves' with the power to TAX Americans based solely on their 'lifestyle'?! If I were gay, which I'm not, I would be ready to duck... I'm not a homophobe or any of that... I'm just saying that AIDS treatments are expensive... I have seen stats purporting that gays (men?) have quite a bit shorter lifespan than straights. Now I'm far from an expert in that field and, so, will leave it right there... But, do we really want to allow the government to give 'themselves!' the power to tax anything 'they', or insurance, companies determine to be an 'unhealthy lifestyle'???

Maybe it's just me... But I think not...

I do not understand why it is not perfectly clear to every individual in this country that our problem(s) are nothing more than greedy, corrupt politicians driven by special interest lobbies! It's that simple... The insurance industry is OBVIOUSLY one of the worse, along with, you guessed it, the financial industry, the pharmaceutical industry, even our military these days is eaten up with & by special interest groups... Many more remain unnamed here...

We have a financial implosion going on this very second. Though you would be hard pressed to hear anything about it from the government or the main stream media. No jobs, foreclosures... Please try to understand, please try to share with everyone you know, the 'fact' that what is being attempted, by the kleptocrats, is the theft of OUR money with the SOLE PURPOSE of handing it DIRECTLY to the insurance companies!

It is NOT for us! It is for them! It is the largest grand theft of human history in the making. Do you really think 'they' will stop there? The banks have 24 trillion, or so, of OUR dollars right now! Now 'they' are coming after TRILLIONS MORE for... insurance companies. Is that what you want? To have the government end up taking every dime you make to give it to a bank, an insurance company, a pharmaceutical company? Federal employees? State and county employees? The unemployed? The sick? The poor? The homeless? The needy? The stupid? Where can it ever end?

'They' WILL ram and cram something down our throats... that you can depend on. You can also depend on the fact that it WILL cost you money. Likely a lot of it.

This is all only just now beginning people... If we do NOT get a handle on it soon it may be too late to do it. Short of full blown revolution and civil war. No one wants that... Please help me rid ourselves of the kleptocrats in Washington and 'vampires' in corporate America that are too STUPID to have ever pondered what might happen if they DESTROYED their entire customer base!

Come on people and think about what's going on in this country... The entire medical system is nothing but a fraud. It's ALL about money! The drug companies are ONLY about getting as many people as possible on as many drugs as possible! The doctors and hospitals are ONLY about performing as many tests and as many procedures on as many people as possible! The insurance companies are ONLY about selling insurance to as many (healthy) people as possible! It's nothing new! It's ALL about money! Just like it ALWAYS IS!

For ONCE lets ALL stand up and say 'NOT this time!'

Do you not, can you not see how 'they' all work together in a massive effort to take YOUR money?!

Help me end it all in one of two ways... Either don't spend anything at all above and beyond what is absolutely necessary, (this is my choice) or, alternatively, go out and get every line of credit you can possibly get your hands on and BUY everything you ever DREAMED of owning and never make ONE DIME of payments toward ANY of the purchases.

Both can be 'fun' and both will work to eliminate the greedy corrupt FRAUDSTERS from our economy. Peaceful dissent is the way to go. Peaceful civil disobedience is the way to go.

Merely STOP playing 'their' game by 'their' rules!

It's up to us... You know... 'we the people'... We Americans. We know how to say ENOUGH! We know how to say 'SHUT UP!' We know how to say 'YOU'RE FIRED!'

I do, however, expect election/voter fraud in 2010 and beyond like we have NEVER seen before in this country. It's going on already, all around the world... It will happen here too. Will you be mice? Or will you be men?

The insurance company swindle

Swindle: to obtain money or property by fraud or deceit

I heard, last night, that tax payers aren't likely to ever see a dime back from $AIG...

The 'spin' on health care 'reform' is that the obama administration wants us to hate the evil insurance companies. So the government can 'punish' them... (ie; no pre-existing condition refusal, mobility, no inappropriate cancellations, etc).

The 'problem' is that our government is in the pocket of the insurance industry lobbyists . My 'suggestion' has been, and continues to be, that the health insurance industry is in dire straights financially. I believe our government has spent months now trying to figure out how to pump liquidity into the health insurance industry WITHOUT having to 'ask' tax payers for, yet another, 'bailout'. As we all surely know by now, the insurance industry is, of course, 'too big to fail'.

The solution must seem like 'sheer genius' to our kleptocratic leaders... Merely pass a 'law' that makes health insurance mandatory for all Americans. Merely steal our money out right and hand it directly to the insurance companies. And then claim that we are all better off for it...

Where are you America? Where have you gone?

The story of 'they'

I tend to talk a lot about 'THEY' these days... Here is a true story, fictitious names, about exactly who 'they' are and the ridiculous lengths 'they' are willing to go to get our money...

Being as brief as possible, the story is about a caring business owner, John, who had the responsibility to take care of the finances of one of his long term clients who had grown also to be very dear friends over the course of many years. So close that he had the full trust of these clients and functioned on their behalf as power of attorney.

John needed this P of A as Penny was now a 76 year old woman and no longer capable of properly caring for herself. Her husband, Dan, had been ill for several years, Alzheimer's, and is now in a VA nursing home. Dan is somewhere close to 80 years old. He likely no longer even knows who Penny is... Penny is fortunate to have many long time friends who care deeply for her. Some of these close friends help to look after Penny, cleaning, shopping and the like.

One day one of these long time family friends,'Becky' received a phone call, on behalf of Penny and Dan, from a phone company. can I name them? Should I? Ok... AT&T.

But, this story IS NOT ABOUT AT&T, it is a story about 'they'. AT&T is but a single representative of 'they'. All of the large phone companies represent 'they'. So do the mortgage companies, the large banks, the credit card companies, the insurance companies, the hospitals, the drug companies, the payday loan companies, the rent-to-own companies, I could, obviously, go on much more here but I think you get the point. These are but a few of the representatives of 'they'. The 'they' who clamor after our wealth.

Apparently Becky became a little confused by the phone call. Becky is in her 50's, as am I, and I can attest to the fact that a little confusion does occur from time to time... Somehow she believed she was signing up for some sort of internet advertising for Penny and Dan's business, which was closing and liquidating. Surely 'they' would never 'intentionally' mislead her...

The next month when the phone bill arrived, at John's business as usual, a strange charge of 49.95 was noticed on the bill and questioned. The description of the charge, on the bill itself, was very... well... nondescript... So John first checked with Becky, who was unsure what the charge was for herself. So John called the company, AT&T, to find out what the new 49.95 charge was for. Turns out the mysterious 49.95 charge was for high speed internet access. Which, as we all know, is cool. Cool unless, you are a 76 year old woman who can no longer care for herself or an 80 year old man who is in a VA nursing home. So John explained this to the phone company along with the fact that Penny and Dan did not even OWN a computer. So AT&T canceled the service and advised John to remit the bill minus the 49.95 charge. Which he did...

So done deal right? No problem.

Wrong...

When the next month's bill arrived it still showed an unpaid charge of 49.95 and also included a 5.00 late fee on that amount. So, once again, John called the phone company, explained the situation, and was instructed to ignore the 49.95 charge as a billing error. Penny has died now, cancer, Dan is still in a VA nursing home and John is a very busy man, running a small business.

Now six months have gone by, the errant 49.95 charge remains on the bill and remains unpaid. A late fee is added every single month, like clockwork, and now the initial 49.95 has grown to more than 80.00. It has also now been turned over to a collection agency.

John's answer at this point? "Let 'them' come and take it from Dan"...

My whole purpose in relaying this story is merely to point out the fact that these people, these corporations, 'they', pull this same sort of scam all across this country every single day. Penny was fortunate to have a professional business owner who attempted to deal with the situation on her behalf. Even he cannot seem to prevail.

Try to imagine a 76 year old woman trying to deal with it, alone. Imagine all the busy, at times inattentive, people in this country who are forced to find time, they do not have, to deal with these obvious 'in your face' rip offs. 'They' have found the young, the elderly and the distracted/irresponsible to be easy prey for their dishonest and unethical practices. 'They' continually rip off ordinary people at every single opportunity and intentionally make it nearly impossible to correct a situation once the cycle has begun. 'They' have become so blinded by greed, corruption and the "love OF money" that 'they' know not what 'they' do.

These corporations are the cancer that grows and spreads in our society and 'they' must be cut out.

Our government, all of it, all of 'them', democrats and republicans alike, are the strongest allies these corporations have. So yes 'they' includes our own government also... 'They' don't ever seem to hear anything we say. We try to explain to 'them' where and how 'they' have gone horribly wrong. But 'they' have their own game to consider. 'They' depend on each other. Our government officials receive campaign funding, and God only knows what else, from these greedy, corrupt institutions. 'They' need the money. 'They' must have the money, and the perks. Our government has it's hands in the pockets of all of 'them'. Need I say AIG, GM, Chrysler, all the major banks, all the large insurance companies, many others. Now 'they' want our entire health care industry. 'They', between 'themselves' have many (secret?) agreements and understandings that we will never know about. Of course the Federal Reserve Bank is a part of 'they' as well. 'They' are particularly good at working in secrecy, behind closed doors, concealing the truth from the American people.

'They' are all pretending everything is fine or going to be fine. Our country is falling apart all around us this very moment. 'They' are jockeying for position, trying to stay a step ahead of what is to come. For the sake of brevity I am not going to go into what I feel is to come here. Some of my previous posts point to much of what I expect. Also, I believe, merely reading "The Prophesied End-Time Revealed" presents a very clear picture of our not too distant future.

Until the day all this greed and corruption no longer exists this economy and country will continue to fail. 'They' have not changed a thing still yet! 'They' only struggle mightily to reflate the credit bubble just long enough to get out of office and out of town. 'They' MUST face and confront all of the greed and corruption and eliminate it, but 'they' dare not. It is the way 'they' have evolved over time. 'They' know no other way to function.

Our very own corporations and government are the beast that devours us. The beast that attacks our young and naive. The beast that attacks our elderly and vulnerable. The beast that attacks those of weak mind, body and spirit.

That is who 'they' are. That is how 'they' operate.

'They' seek only to steal our wealth and our freedom.

Is there anything at all we can do? YES! For one, the most obvious thing we can do is throw out every incumbent in office in the house and the senate in every election cycle beginning with 2010 mid terms. The house's approval rating is in the low teens. How DO they manage to return to represent us year after year? Decade after decade? Are our elections still valid, honest? Or have they become so gerry mandered and politicized that they no longer even resemble what they were once meant to be? Are we Iran?

There is one more thing that we CAN do. One more thing that, in my opinion, we MUST do. We can have a major impact through the use of a non-violent resistance/revolution. All Americans have to do is clamp SHUT their collective pocketbooks! WE represent 70% of the US economy. WE can help the markets force ALL the greed and corruption out of the system. 'They' need the money a lot more than we do. It is all 'they' seek, our wealth. Our freedom be damned. Our constitution trampled under foot.

For any Americans out there who might fear government repercussions for voicing their own heartfelt opinions...

You have lost your freedom already...

We cannot and WILL NOT fear those who represent us!

This economy has been a debt/credit/FED/government, fueled manipulated house of cards for decades now. Lets fix it. Together.

Twitter is down. A denial of service attack. Could 'they' possibly be behind it? Would 'they' seek to disrupt/destroy our communications network? To put a stop to the voicing of our opinions? Would 'they' now seek to remove our first amendment right? Remember Iran and keep a close eye on exactly what 'they' are doing. Not what 'they' are saying.

As John Lennon once said 'Strange days, indeed'.

Is this what we need? Would it lead us out of confusion and chaos, prevent anarchy, lead to Utopia???

As I have stated here previously, I am not a particularly religious person in life, or in practice. Yet I have a great love of, and respect for, religion. I have spent many years of my life absorbing all the information I can about religious practices from around the world. Just for fun. Just because I haven't ever tired of the tremendous amount of historical information that is available on the subject. The when's, the why's, the how's, the who's, etc... It seems to me, based on what I have learned, that in the past religion was most often used, by a controlling elite (ie; the Church in the past), as a means to control some/many of the undesirable behaviors of man. As defined by the then ruling elite.

Was this, is this, a valid use of authority? Or was it/is it an attempt to stifle the free will and creativity of man? Would God approve of the intentional prevention of the exercise of free will? I don't know. I don't pretend to have all the answers. I don't pretend to have any of the answers. I have only questions. MILLIONS of them! Constantly... I question everything. I dissect everything. I examine everything. If I had to explain what it is I seek I guess the word would have to be 'logic'. 'What makes sense' and 'what does not'? Don't we all do this in our daily lives? But of course this is 'problematic'. By design? What may be 'logic' to me may, at the same time, be utter non-sense to someone else.

How is this possible? How have we ended up where we are? And, I suppose more importantly, where are we? Mankind has ruled the planet for 6,000 years. We have no doubt 'evolved'. But, can evolution not also be digressive? Is it possible to 'evolve' in the wrong direction? To 'evolve' merely means to 'change gradually'. It does not denote a necessarily correct path at all, only slow gradual change. I guess my pretense here is that perhaps for decades, perhaps for centuries, perhaps for millennia, those who have attempted to 'control' our evolution have been going in the wrong direction all along, slowly, gradually. So are we sheep? And if we are then, why? What have we 'lost' along the way? What have we 'given up' that maybe we shouldn't have? And who have we given it up to?!

Talking, as usual it seems, about the ruling elite. Wondering why we, Americans, humans in general, submit ourselves to such controlling influences? Is it merely because we have always done so? Throughout time it seems...

Is it really time for change? This time? Do we have the capability, the desire, the will to effect real change? Could this really be the end of an age? Is there something that we are all searching for? Do the net and communication networks, social networks, make the difference? Do these things make change possible?

I think they do. I think things have already changed a great deal. I see it in many people I know. I see it around the world to one degree or another. But, what will it take to effect real change? A new beginning, a new era, a new reality, an enlightened society, indeed a utopia. We simply need to unite around a common theme, a shared cause. We need to find import and hope in our lives. We need to find a desire to fix what is wrong and do what is right.

But alas, therein the problem lies. It seems, at times, that we are incapable of uniting for change for the better. It seems to me, we knowingly continue to allow ourselves to be governed by the ruling elite. Has our long evolution simply been headed in the wrong direction for a very long time?

So what in the hell IS going on?

Politics, in a word, is what has gone wrong in the world. Politicians have usurped power from the Church for their own use in shaping, changing, controlling the human experience. Politicians use great complexity, rather than morality, to control us, to control our behavior. Politicians divide us along party lines. They divide us on 'issues' of supposed import. Guns, abortion, civil rights, many others... I think this is, and has been for a very long time, the single most powerful weapon the political elite wield over us, their ability to divide us, one against the other.

When will we ever be able to understand that we, Americans, humans, are but pawns in a much larger game? It's all nothing more than a huge, exciting political game run by financial elites. I'm not breaking any new ground here. This idea has been kicked around for generations now. But, now it seems so painfully obvious, the corruption and greed at all levels of government, the corruption and greed that has captured our capitalistic system, our corporations.

Bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles...

It has become obvious to me that the government of the United States is currently terrified that the bursting of yet more bubbles is imminent. We went through the housing bubble, we are going through the credit bubble still. Add to these a health care bubble, an energy bubble and commodities are still bubbling away as well.

The big push for health care 'reform' at all costs. The desperation in forcing this health care legislation down everyone's throat as fast as possible, helps to prove the point that, in fact, health care IS the next bubble to burst. Listening to the President a bit last night it struck me when I heard a few of the numbers that are now being thrown out there to support the rush to nationalized health care. 50 million uninsured, 1,300 health insurance companies, 14,000 Americans per day are 'losing their health care coverage'.

Are they, in fact, 'losing' their coverage? Or, more likely in my opinion, are they canceling their health insurance due to job loss and/or other expenses/problems? In this economy, unemployment, lower wages, fewer hours, many Americans are diligently looking for ways to cut expenses and increase cash flow. It doesn't take very long at all for anyone to spot the thousands of dollars a year, in potential savings, that are being handed over to insurance companies. It's a gamble for sure... but one apparently worth taking for many Americans.

With many Americans VOLUNTARILY dropping health care coverage to save money who gets hurt? The 1,300 insurance companies who sell it! The drug companies, who receive the money from the insurance companies, who bill the consumer for 'the possible need of medical services at some point'. I will not be surprised to see MOST relatively healthy people canceling health insurance to save cash.

THAT is the problem that government, not Democrats, not Republicans, but government faces now. The entire medical industry has done the same thing the banks and mortgage companies have done. They have effectively priced themselves out of business. We have been told for YEARS now that inflation is practically non-existent and certainly not a problem. What?!

Apparently, incredibly, most big business is completely ignorant when it comes to how their pricing structures affect average Americans. They raise prices dramatically for as long as they can and as fast as they can. Did NONE of them ever wonder what might happen if they actually over-priced their products and/or services? If, in fact, they created a bubble?

It's another case of big business, industry, destroying the very customer base on which they depend for revenue! And for what purpose? In pursuit of the almighty dollar. To drive profits. To increase share price for share holders. To keep sales and profits humming along. They have all been so blinded by the 'pursuit of money', by the 'love of money', that they have COMPLETELY lost touch with not only their own customers, but with reality itself.

Now, in a desperate attempt to fix the situation, the Congress wants to FORCE everyone to pay into a BROKEN health care system. It is but one more money grabbing effort by the government. They pumped Trillions of tax payer dollars into the financial system, into the very entities that CAUSED most all of the problems. They handed over Billions of tax payer dollars to $AIG, to the auto industry/unions, basically tax payer dollars are available to anyone with their hand out, it appears. Now they want to pump Trillions into the health care industry to prop it up as well! To protect NOT US but the insurance companies, the drug companies, the inefficient hospitals and money grabbing Doctors. That's the thing that makes me so mad. None of it is about US at all. None of it is really about 'all Americans having access to quality affordable health care'. That SOUNDS wonderful and that's why they all continue to repeat it over and over. But, it is only more 'how can we fool them today?', more 'smoke and mirrors'. It's but one more attempt to grab tax payer dollars to prop up unsustainable industry. They are even talking about requiring everyone to carry health insurance, by law, like we have with auto insurance now. This is ridiculous! We are required to carry 'liability' and uninsured motorist. These are to protect OTHER DRIVERS, not ourselves. If we want to risk covering damages to our own vehicle we still have the option to do that. It sounds as if soon we will no longer have the ability to decide whether or not we want to risk covering our own health care costs.

The Congress has never passed a 'law' that requires every American to purchase a specific product from a specific industry/sector. Not that I know of. Yet that is where they are headed and what they want to do. They are panicked. They are panicked big time. Because they see what further 'bubble bursting' will do to this weakened economy. Push it over the edge... off the cliff...

I no longer have any doubt that our Government is going to collapse. The economy is shot to hell, the consumer is dead in the water, the entire pricing structure of the economy is askew, real supply and demand curves seem to no longer exist, the dollar is going to hell, geopolitical problems abound, fighting expensive wars, the markets NEED DESPERATELY to correct but the Government CANNOT allow it to happen. They seek desperately to re-inflate an economy with absolutely no help from the consumer. Look for further money grabbing adventures in the energy and commodity sectors. We probably will end up with 'inflation from hell' at some point. Or whatever other really cool 'tricks of the trade' the FED and Treasury can come up with. Maybe Obama should just tell us all to 'go to the mall, go to the mall and shop and stuff.'

Politicians truly are pathetic, all of them. I think they are already well aware of the fact that it's Game Over... It's TOO screwed, they can't fix anything now, it's too late, they only continue to make things worse. I think the politicians get it, it's really Game Over this time... We're not 'bubbling' we're BOILING! Alive...

So what's next?

There are some things I would like to see... Things like Hope and Change (Change we can believe in) I hope that people around the world will begin to realize, finally, that hope and that change MUST come from US, the people, not Governments and Central Banks... I hope that people will tire of taking marching orders from those who seek only to divide and confuse. Those who lie and conceal the truth. Those who seek to use every tool at their disposal AGAINST us, not for us. For no other purpose than to protect their own wealth and power. They have all, government and big business, sold us out for money and power... Now they want our help. I want to help. I want to change the world...

And... YES WE CAN!

I truly believe that we CAN change society for the better, the world over. But WE have to do it OURSELVES. We obviously can no longer trust Governments to look out for us. We have to find a way to convert those who support the nanny state idea. We have to get through to those who couldn't care less what happens to the human experiment, those who are far more interested in American Idol than the Federal Reserve Banking System. We must kindle an interest in the the true meaning of life. We CAN and, IMHO, MUST change things.

And it's a very simple thing to do really... All we have to do is make up our collective minds that we will NO LONGER PLAY THEIR GAMES. WE WILL NO LONGER FOLLOW THEIR RULES. We each must do what we know is right and just. We must rebuild society from the ground up. We must all turn our backs on their greed, corruption and manipulation.

And what if we DID rise up? What if we did stand up and say ENOUGH! What would happen in the USA? I suspect, in a real 'crisis', in a real uprising by the people, for the people, that the response of the United States government would not be so different than that of the government of Iran. Think about it... The loudest protesters who seemed to be something akin to 'leaders' or 'die hard reformists', activists, would be arrested and locked up. The main stream media (MSM) would downplay the events as a few 'extremists' acting up... I can see it all as if it were happening right now. God forbid anyone should question government's/Obama's determinations, about which 'ideas' or which 'particular group of people', are in fact 'extremists'... We ALL BECOME 'extremists' exactly at the moment 'they say we are extremists'! Those who make such determinations are aided and abetted by the MSM. These days it seems about all it takes to be stricken by the 'extremist' label is to 'disagree' with anything the elites wish to do... Is this REALLY freedom?

Could it really all fall apart? Here? In the United States of America? The young people of today would, no doubt, think we're nuts for even suggesting such a thing could be possible. Has it happened before? Here? Elsewhere? Throughout history? We all know that it has...

The cities would be hit the hardest. Hit the hardest by food shortages, transportation issues, power problems, rioting/looting, police issues, more. As government services and safety nets collapse, as infrastructure becomes unavailable, we could face anarchy... Civil war is possible. We are no different, in the end, in the true scheme of 'things' than anyone else in the world. Nor should we be any different. Indeed a new day is coming, fast. We should be ready and eager to seize the opportunity to fix America, to fix the world. We should all actively seek a new way of life, a simpler way of life, a new desire to live in wonderment of God's many marvelous and beautiful creations. At peace with ourselves.
